But is the Nighingale worth the money? It's about rm270 for the first batch one with the metal thrusters. I don't really mind about the crap quality too much. Although, putting it together, are there any major problems?

Ex-S I will grab for sure cause cheap and big.

When is that Panzer coming out as well? And is there any news about the original white one?
*
major problem is you definitely need some cement/super glue on standby laugh.gif

Panzer only confirmed coming out, but didn't mention when
probably wouldn't be this year
as for Liger Zero, nope, no news about it

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Nov 8 2012, 08:32 PM)

*
the details and molding didn't seem that bad, but oh the horrible chest orb sticker on Wing 0 tongue.gif

Acrylic or enamel? It's only about half price of real brands though.

If you're wanting to buy cheap paint, then automotive paints would be best. From your automotive store ask them to premix your colour. Well this in in Australia. 250ml for about rm30-45.
*
should be lacquer, since it's said to be similar with Gaianotes, which is lacquer

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Nov 10 2012, 10:15 AM)
haha, gunpla melt is fine whistling.gif later u tersentuh your finger melt pulak la dangerous whistling.gif whistling.gif paint don't too cheap, saved by buying china gunpla ad, beli lah ori paints tongue.gif
*
well, most branded & trusted poster paints or oil paints for art are made in China anyway, give them some chance whistling.gif
and it's not direct pirate/copy anyway, they are making their own brand laugh.gif

Elyn Hobby trolled us, the person in charged just posted an apology that the photos he posted are the old 1/100 resin kit, not the upcoming MG 1/100, so the proportions are off doh.gif sweat.gif

dah ada aegis whistling.gif shush.. pergi build and take pics brows.gif

anyway, got noobie questionS tongue.gif

1. does TT/GG produce any Zaku 1.0 or all are Zaku 2.0?
2. J.Ridden's Zaku and Tri-Star Zaku by GaoGao are 2.0 or 1.0?
3. what are the main differences of 1.0 and 2.0?

newbie to zakus, so gotta ask some questions tongue.gif i think both the mentioned Zakus are 2.0, correct?
*
all are Zaku 2.0s, no 1.0, so far the oldest MG copied by China is MG Ex-S(excluding those kits from the era when all China kits were horrendous tongue.gif )

good thing they copied 2.0 instead, 1.0 is horrible whistling.gif

assuming right is 1.0? tongue.gif
what are the more significant changes from 1.0 to 2.0?
*
left is 1.0
oh the horrible seamline on 1.0's snout

by now you should know where to view the comparisons whistling.gif
but here's the simple breakdown of the differences:
- better proportions
- better articulations
- 2.0 has full inner frame while 1.0 no
- 2.0 with newer technology uses less PC parts
- 2.0 hands
- 2.0 head has monoeye gimmick

my gawd 1.0's awful articulations tongue.gif

Reconfirmation from Elyn Hobby, the Kshatriya in the photos IS the correct one, it's the Sinanju beside that is the resin kit, not MG Sinanju, that's why the Sinanju is way too tall

Ignoring qualities aside, I'm not a big fan of Kshatriya enough to fork out that much money to get a 1/100 "MG" of it tongue.gif

if 1/100 Deep Strike I will buy it without hesitation no matter how the quality or how expensive it is whistling.gif (except if more expensive than G-system resin kit la laugh.gif )

I'm currently building Daban's Epyon (courtesy of General_Nic) and am quite pleased with the connections, but removing the nub marks with a knife leave undesirable white marks on the surface... is there a way to hide them? I was thinking of sandpapering or using marker...
*
glad u happy biggrin.gif

1 tip, try rubbing the whitish area with you fingernails, it somehow works icon_idea.gif

For sanding approach, i use a metal file to sand it off the nubs and do it in one direction so that it won't change the surface of the kit and finish it with a fine sanding sponge to minimize the scratches.
*
sanding in circular motion would be better, jz a suggestion icon_rolleyes.gif
