completed my first ZOID kit
absolutely love how this thing looks.. even the build has a very PG-like feel to it.. plus a lot of chromed pistons showing, and i like mechas that have some detailed mechanics showing ![]() i really am liking this.. i thank those who encouraged me to try out ZOIDS.. also darn u all for making me go into another line |

QUOTE(Khai62 @ Sep 6 2012, 12:17 AM) Look like it mostly will be on that color which to be honest a weird color combination for me since the color don't really have the character for a land gundam, if you know what i mean. i have to agree.. it strikes me more as Marine Type i think i'll give this one a pass.. i already assembled one MC Nu and i think that's enough for me.. different weapons won't be able to justify another (probably expensive) purchase of the same mold for me |

QUOTE(shining phoenix @ Sep 6 2012, 05:01 AM) HxiiiK, could you share with me how the precision, snapfitt, plastic quality for the BT blade liger? Coz i have that unit still unboxed, thanks. no problems whatsoever.. very well molded but some parts may need a bit of cementing to prevent the gaps in between 2 snapfitted parts.. but overall good details and molding have no problems at all |

QUOTE(chaics85 @ Sep 6 2012, 09:01 AM) wow.. how long it take to complete this.. looks great. finished it in about 3 days.. building on and off with some other work took me three nights just to complete the head and chest only.. and still doing my shield liger.. i must say, building zoids is totally different from gundams.. and the plastic is really thick.. worth it.. |

QUOTE(onnylam @ Sep 6 2012, 11:08 PM) 1st: stickers. eg the black 'parts' on the wings are actually stickers, and there's a lot of it.... that's quite some bad news :/2nd: the joints for arms and legs are very, very fragile. I broke the legs during assembling. so had to cement them. if I move the arms, I think they will break as well. 3rd: the feet which is supposed to be 180° during MA mode, is not possible. sorry, don't have pics to prove them, hope other bros who might have bought this can confirm.... i suppose that's what you get for giving something so small an inner frame.. i will try to be careful when i get mine though, thanks for the info and heads up which part of the leg and arms are the fragile bits? the knee/elbow or the feet joints? or the joints connecting to the body? QUOTE(onnylam @ Sep 6 2012, 11:14 PM) no problem will do, thanks again for the heads up.. although i normally check the parts thoroughly before snapping, the extra caution should help a lot the knee/elbow joints, can't explain that in details, but should you buy one, just be careful of them.... i'm a bit nervous now.. although mine is probably still on a ship or stuck on a port somewhere.. |
