I'm sorry if being disappointed at a pre-season game is wrong, but it is our last match before our opener against City. We fielded a very strong team against a Championship side. We should be outplaying them for most of the match, constantly creating chances. I don't care if we lost the match due to poor finishing or defensive blunders, but we should at least starting playing some good football. Anyways, nothing is set in stone. We have a week till the ManC match. Our players may not be running at 100% now, so hope we snatch a result and get a early trophy.

I wouldn't mind Both impressed me at the olympics.

Oscar is a little bit of iniesta and little bit of Alonso haha. If premier league is kind to him, he can grow to be a superb player.

Maybe one or two of them but not all. I would keep Meireles and Essien. We need some depth and bench players. They can provide alternatives and cover for injuries. Some of the experienced players should remain.

Yes, Oscar position is the same position Lampard plays now. Sadly, I don't think we can have both of them playing in the same team. The other holding midfielder has to be a DM. Speaking about DM, now Mikel has a very important job with all these playmakers in the team. He must be solid defensively and forward passing must be smooth. Hope Romeu can challenge that position to get the better of both them.

This one just for Community Shield. Oscar still playing for Brazil at Olympics. Finals on the 11th, how to play for C.Shield?

Oscar + Ramires link up should be good. Oscar of course can play in his deep position passing the ball, and if Ramires and Oscar interchange, he can release Ramires on one his bursting runs forward from midfield.

Finally, the curtain raiser to the season. I won't expect many changes in playing style, however i want to see more efficiency in attack. I would feel much better if was Marin on the bench. Sturridge also a good attacking option i think.
