OR, it could be that danny boy wont renew his contract with us sad.gif .... aside from dat i dont see any reason to sign schurrle.... danny boy still only left a year out of his contract rite?

he dunwan to play on the right. so probably that why we are chasing moses.

torres to me is more like a fox in the box type of striker. if you notice, he never shoots nor tries from far. he's the type of player that will finish when he got the ball in the box. we need a player that is opposite to him if we are looking for another striker.
more like hasselbank type of player. whenever he got the ball outside the box, is considered dangerous already. who shoots the ball like a bullet.

i donno who fits the bill. rclxub.gif

Sturridge and Hazard often shoot from outside the box, no?

I think Moses should be our last attacking signing.
*
but Sturridge often get carried away when he dribble. he took a lot of touches and in my opinion as a striker (if he intend to play centre), that's not a good quality.
about Hazard, i don't really know his style of playing. i watched only a few of his game. i don't dare yet to give comment. but his strike against city was good.

QUOTE(chitchat @ Aug 15 2012, 12:53 AM)
Harlo since when TORRES is a fox in the box striker ? these term are for striker like Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Filippo Inzaghi, good position and reflexes inside the box, we have some in STURRIDGE last season always being at the right place at the right time to pounce. TORRES never work well in crowded box, he rely on thru ball and his speed, last season u can see he always drift out to receive ball as he is not comfortable of not being getting the ball and just waiting chances in the box. That why i am not worried when we against big team, but against parking the bus team, TORRES will have problem.

But i agree with you we lack some long ranger, LAMPARD was used to be the man trying long shot outside the box, but since he is playing deeper now, his chances are limited. The one we have now most probably STURRIDGE and HAZARD others dont really try at all. I see MANC has most of those player, MILNER, YAYA, BARRY and co. they can bang some really good long shot.
*
blush.gif oh i used to wrong term. what exactly type of player that play like torres is called eh?

torres is deadly in front of goal, but when he got the ball outside of the box, nothing much he can do.

Firm Ground / HG
suitable in most padangs sekolah standard / padang taman.

Soft Ground susah mau carik bro padang yg sesuai nak main. buat rosak but je beli mahal2 & kaki pun sakit.

normal boots usually can last up to 2-3 years (depends on usage/ how u jaga)...my fren beli mahal sikit & jaga pun bagus can tahan up to 5 years.

futsal different la..max 1-2 years confirm edi

Hard Ground? This one banyak studs?

Soft Ground's the one with 6 studs or less? I got it. Thanks a lot bro!

haizz.. so disappointing.

later torres stress can kill himself already

plus we were really careless at the back. we r only lucky we scored early and wigan did not capitalize their chances.

the positive i saw was bertrand. he is good n quick, and willing to do tricks to get past his opponent

boring culprit is lamps, terry luiz and mikel.

by the way, mata is playing quite deep today isnt he?

DON'T BE MISTAKEN! WE TAKE ON READING MIDWEEK! AND TORRES WAS AWFUL!
*
because there was no supply. we keep playing pass sideways, and back. if i were torres i boring liao n lose spirit to play.

hazard did okay. great turn by him to set up iva.
maybe im just expecting too much. but to me, we still lacking the urgency to attack, when we have the lead, we become complacent and cocky.

when we got the long ball from the back, lets say torres got the ball, i can see on the left(bertrand) n hazard already go up but is well marked, but lack of support from lampard to make the attack even more fluid. torres to turn to face the goal will take more time than passing to lamps and then lamps pass the ball forward. i hope oscar can replace lamps in near future. dunno where is mata though. he supposed to be there i think?

thats just my amateur opinion. am waiting for kerpy's analysis.

QUOTE(Frankmiller92 @ Aug 20 2012, 12:11 AM)
I said he was awful because he was not attentive at all! His mind was elsewhere in this match. There was one Ivanovic pass where he just needs to slot in to score...but he didn't pay attention and the ball rolled away..
*
that is spot on. but i honestly think he just fed up with the long balls and no supply from midfield. his attitude is problematic that one i agree, but you cannot blame him entirely. you can see his frustration when hazard dribbling in front of the box, and he's ready to get the ball but hazard went on to dribble and lose the ball.

3-0 should be a good result to start the season.
