QUOTE(epsonstylux @ Aug 19 2012, 10:47 PM) because there was no supply. we keep playing pass sideways, and back. if i were torres i boring liao n lose spirit to play. I said he was awful because he was not attentive at all! His mind was elsewhere in this match. There was one Ivanovic pass where he just needs to slot in to score...but he didn't pay attention and the ball rolled away..hazard did okay. great turn by him to set up iva. maybe im just expecting too much. but to me, we still lacking the urgency to attack, when we have the lead, we become complacent and cocky. when we got the long ball from the back, lets say torres got the ball, i can see on the left(bertrand) n hazard already go up but is well marked, but lack of support from lampard to make the attack even more fluid. torres to turn to face the goal will take more time than passing to lamps and then lamps pass the ball forward. i hope oscar can replace lamps in near future. dunno where is mata though. he supposed to be there i think? thats just my amateur opinion. am waiting for kerpy's analysis. |

QUOTE(epsonstylux @ Aug 20 2012, 12:50 AM) that is spot on. but i honestly think he just fed up with the long balls and no supply from midfield. his attitude is problematic that one i agree, but you cannot blame him entirely. you can see his frustration when hazard dribbling in front of the box, and he's ready to get the ball but hazard went on to dribble and lose the ball. Haizz what happened ah? During the Community Shield he was so good!! now we know Ramires is the catalyst!3-0 should be a good result to start the season. |

QUOTE(hidzwan @ Aug 21 2012, 01:07 PM) i concur. MU always finish the season top notch while other team starting to show sign of fatigue, concede last gasp goal, lost player due to injury and etc. never writing the likes of MU & Man City off in this early stage. While for Liverpool, even they occasionally look very average and unlucky but they always pick their form against us. I think we rather focus on our team which obviously haven't manage to show their true capability yet. UEFA Super Cup is just around the corner, they better find the chemistry soon. They started well last season! It only took Stoke 6 games in to deny them 3 points... in the last 4 matches they lost steam. SO it's hard to say... BUT ARSENAL UR SPOT ON! HAHAHAHAHA. Unfortunately for us we ALWAYS falter during the dreaded Christmas period. If RDM can stabilize the club during that period... The Barclays Premier League is coming back to the Bridge! |

Why do I get a feeling Torres will score a hat-trick tonight? I don't know, if it's only me I'll be quiet...

1 min to go. No keeper in goal. Just Hazard and an opposing defender. Hazard passes to Ivanovic to score. Enough Said.

Why oh WHy didn't Hazard shoot?! even myself an unselfish player would have gone for glory. This is what separates him from the rest. A real class act!

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Aug 23 2012, 05:00 AM) pity ramires. square peg in a round hole although he should've square it for nando before the penalty. having said that, rami's wide play was actually pretty decent today but for some reason his touches exuded some unusual rustiness. the ball kept bouncing off him, bad touches, etc. however just because lampsy scored the pen, i'm not going to exclude him from criticism and imo he was just as bad today. i would've taken him off before mikel, who was doing a fine job. Soon Hazard will replace ur current profile pic!if we're making teams like wigan and reading look world class (no disrespect to either of them), newcastle will be one hell of a test. haih. still it was an entertaining match and hazard really is an unselfish magician. such a joy to watch and i think oscar was good as well. |

For those criticizing the 4-2-3-1 formation. RDM have to play that bcoz unlike past seasons we now have A LOT of Attacking Midfielders
What we meed is a battering ram like City's Toure. Mikel & Lampard can't do that. We have someone like that in Essien but is now enjoying the sun in Madrid. |

Anyone saw the United match? RVP brilliance or Southampton defense lapse of concentration?

QUOTE(ilovelyn @ Sep 3 2012, 03:34 AM) Southampton have no luck.. Haizz seeing how the 2 Manchester clubs play... will we be able to compete against them?1st goal really good chest by RVP and and superb strike by him.. Man Utd 2nd goal hit the post and bounce right in front of RVP 3rd goal is defender mistake not following RVP (good header too by him) Southampton is really looking good, they manage to get the lead 2-1 both manchester clubs.. maybe they lack of experience to keep the lead now will be 2 weeks international break right? hopefully RDM will use this time to get things right and we can bounce back from the lost to AM.. |

QUOTE(ilovelyn @ Sep 3 2012, 04:14 AM) we will be able to compete provided RDM uses the right tactic/formation against them.. Exactly! I don't understand why RDM or AVB doesn't want to use Luiz as a Toure type player!. And with a creative midfield now, there is no reason why Torres cannot perform!really hoping to see more formations and tactics to be use by RDM depending on the situation.. instead of sticking to current formation only for every games.. and maybe even drop Lampard and Torres if they dont perform good enough.. by the way we still haven't seen Marin/Cesar/Moses in action.. Oscar also not at his best... the best line up for me would be Cech Cesar -- Ivanovic/Cahill -- Terry -- Cole Oscar/Lampard -- Mikel Moses/Marin -- Hazard -- Mata DS23/Torres with essien gone to RM maybe we can see Luiz in the double pivot position? compete with mikel maybe? because i think Luiz in better than Mikel to initiate an attack movement |

QUOTE(volrath @ Sep 3 2012, 05:37 PM) He's still ball-shy some time.. I think it's quite normal la for players, but since we see Torres on a higher level, comes the expectation also. If only Torres was more like Sturrige and Sturridge more like Torres....During his Liverpool spell, he used to score hard-goals, with techniques. Now macam poacher aje. But I can't deny he's so good at giving away assists. But yea, like you all said, he needs the |

If Mereilles leaves we are REALLY OUT OF MIDFIELDERS! Only Mikel & Lampard & Ramirez & Oscar! The latter 2 will be wasted as they are attacking Midfielders!

I side with whoever thinks Malouda shud leave. Yes he did well in Ancelotti double season, the the NEW Chelsea has no place for him. Also he is selfish!
