maybe im just expecting too much. but to me, we still lacking the urgency to attack, when we have the lead, we become complacent and cocky.

when we got the long ball from the back, lets say torres got the ball, i can see on the left(bertrand) n hazard already go up but is well marked, but lack of support from lampard to make the attack even more fluid. torres to turn to face the goal will take more time than passing to lamps and then lamps pass the ball forward. i hope oscar can replace lamps in near future. dunno where is mata though. he supposed to be there i think?

that is spot on. but i honestly think he just fed up with the long balls and no supply from midfield. his attitude is problematic that one i agree, but you cannot blame him entirely. you can see his frustration when hazard dribbling in front of the box, and he's ready to get the ball but hazard went on to dribble and lose the ball. 

3-0 should be a good result to start the season.

i concur. MU always finish the season top notch while other team starting to show sign of fatigue, concede last gasp goal, lost player due to injury and etc. never writing the likes of MU & Man City off in this early stage. While for Liverpool, even they occasionally look very average and unlucky but they always pick their form against us. I think we rather focus on our team which obviously haven't manage to show their true capability yet. UEFA Super Cup is just around the corner, they better find the chemistry soon.

When Reading game?

pity ramires. square peg in a round hole although he should've square it for nando before the penalty. having said that, rami's wide play was actually pretty decent today but for some reason his touches exuded some unusual rustiness. the ball kept bouncing off him, bad touches, etc. however just because lampsy scored the pen, i'm not going to exclude him from criticism and imo he was just as bad today. i would've taken him off before mikel, who was doing a fine job.

if we're making teams like wigan and reading look world class (no disrespect to either of them), newcastle will be one hell of a test. haih. still it was an entertaining match and hazard really is an unselfish magician. such a joy to watch and i think oscar was good as well.

Southampton have no luck.. 

1st goal really good chest by RVP and and superb strike by him..
Man Utd 2nd goal hit the post and bounce right in front of RVP
3rd goal is defender mistake not following RVP (good header too by him)

Southampton is really looking good, they manage to get the lead 2-1 both manchester clubs..
maybe they lack of experience to keep the lead
now will be 2 weeks international break right?
hopefully RDM will use this time to get things right and we can bounce back from the lost to AM..

we will be able to compete provided RDM uses the right tactic/formation against them..

really hoping to see more formations and tactics to be use by RDM depending on the situation..
instead of sticking to current formation only for every games..

and maybe even drop Lampard and Torres if they dont perform good enough..

He's still ball-shy some time.. I think it's quite normal la for players, but since we see Torres on a higher level, comes the expectation also.

During his Liverpool spell, he used to score hard-goals, with techniques. Now macam poacher aje. But I can't deny he's so good at giving away assists. But yea, like you all said, he needs the selfishnessconfidence to attempt himself too.
