I have the feeling it going to tally up to 10 MoTM. tongue.gif
I wonder. time will tell.
Oscar isn't getting much games either.
*
+ he can't do rotation for the sake of rotation. RDM needs to be discipline as well. So far so good.
yeah it doesnt looks fancy on the record to see Essien on the bench for 3 matches in a row WITHOUT getting any run, but that, i believe, is another RDM problem to deal with.

the problem is how he's going to keep the dressing room happy with this.

I don't like managers who rotate the team 'just for the sake of rotation & wants the team happy'.
it's not why Roman paid for these players.

JM did the same thing (which is why we're still depending on the old squad till now tongue.gif ) but if it works for us, why not rite?

btw guise after UEFA super cup is international break? looks like 2 weeks break there.

maybe that's good time for Mata to get 'thaaaaaaaaaat' break? (if not getting call ups)

15 aug is d next epl match v QPR. (sh*t! really can still remember stupid ref last season, even ALL the pundits agree, absolutely ridiculous!! 9 players but we still all out attacking mode that time...

rotation is necessary to keep everyone happy and our opposition ponders.

you can't expect hazard to start every game. we have few players who can bring different dimension and personality to the game. i prefer to use them all rather than depending on only one player.
*
errr
why need to rotate when the form is good, no injuries, no fitness isue?

yes players like Hazard is the kind of player that i expect to start in every game.
he's going to be our key player like mata last season.

(mata for sure need to be rest soon, olympic + euro. no preseason break for him)

time will come where he needs break, but definitely not in the next few matches

p/s maybe uefa super cup is a good chance for new players / fringe players to get some match time.
so if want to rest him for uefa super cup i've no problem because that one is not my main priority (read : personal priority)

he is not a machine, every1 need rest, rotating helps keep all players in team fit always.
If not, once Hazard cant play only sub others who got not much of playing time then that's not good.. blush.gif
*
of course i agree with this, but definitely NOT NOW or next few matches.
it's so early to rotate the team now.
wub.gif

& i'd like to add hizwan's point.

robben also did not start the season early. i think almost half season(because of injury)..then he got player of the month or something.

then injury injury play injury injury play injury play injury injury..

so both robben & cole example is not a good one.

i rather use lampard, or even essien few years back. key players MUST stay in the team in most of the games. 6 assist out of 3 games, i will call him key player now for sure. might be over exaggerated but that's why we pay some handsome money for his transfer

+ if i cud remember, torres was unhappy when he did not featured in the starting 11 vs Bayern. RDM cares? NO. he cares the objective of the team
same goes to Kalouda (for Bertrand). RDM knews exactly that both Robben / Ribery will cause problems, so he need to deploy surprise package, bertrand to contain those pressures. That's the objective of the team.

same like vs Newcastle, same objective.

good manager must have discipline to keep team's shape and objective. keeping players happy is a totally different problem.
he will not sign moses if he's too concern with players happiness. it's an open secret that we have lots of wide players brows.gif

just my 2 cents icon_rolleyes.gif

So, its ok we paying someone £90k/week just for backup?
Now, we already sign Moses and Ramires can be filled in as box-to-box midfield for now on.
Essien performance is already below par my friends, thats why Lampard, Mikel, Meireles and Ramires are ahead of him.
Four players fighting for two spots are more than enough.
I almost forgot..we also got Oriol Romeu.
*
nod.gif

totally spot on.
i'm also NOT OK to see essien is there on the bench without making a single appearance so far.
he's not cheap on wages.same like malouda, benayoun etc

so far he's for sure behind mikel, lampard, mikel & ramires.................& oscar

btw u19 lost the 'champions league' first match yesterday : 2-1.

no no no, i prefer to take easier opponent anytime, be it CL, FA or League Cup so we can qualify easier and concentrate on other competition, meanwhile bench player and youth can get some game time also. Reserve as much energy as we can until end of season for those big games that really decide trophies.
*
agree with u.
main objective of group stage is to get top 2

easier opponents in group stage = can rest few players (doesnt mean disrespect other team)

like in few years ago where josh get surprise UCL debut vs MSK Zilina.

same goes to carling cup or FA cup.
sure want to use same-strongest-squad for each round?
no rite icon_idea.gif

Hail, Hazard! Glad to see Nando is starting to find his touch.
Still hope that Stevan Jovetic  will come.

Looks like Chelsea still need a right full back to cover Ivanovic. This is the weak side last season, can't trust Paolo Ferreira

lol u guys seriously dunno the rule?? rclxub.gif

QUOTE(kiien_kyan @ Aug 30 2012, 02:16 PM)
it is possible rite? cos 2005-06 champion league, Liverpool and Chelsea are in the same group.

or is it any rules revised after? hmm.gif
*
unique case. Liverpool champ UCL 2004/2005, but bad league position. just like us this season.

dat time there's no rule where champ can still play in next season CL if league position not top4.
if i cud clearly remember: dat time(2005/06) england got 5 representative with everton missed out the grouping stage (loss KO 3rd round qualifying vs Villareal). Liverpool started from round 1 KO

Since then, UEFA change the rule..champ auto straight to grouping stage; max team according to what has been allocated (england 4 places)..
if other country let say 2 teams only can qualify..so 2nd in the league will be tendang to be replace with the champ of CL previous season.
england : spurs(4th place) kena tendang coz chelsea champ UCL.

teams from same country WILL NEVER meet each other since i cud remember in the gruping stage..
only that particular year unique case coz it NEVER happens in the history of CL.

IMO ivanovic was extremely poor. TOO lazy, crosses very bad.

I don't think they have enough time to bring any significant players to the bridge.
The thing is with this new tactic,it's entertaining to watch, but they don't focus that much on marking.
The players look exhausted too,I don't know why,but there's only a few players that are energetic today, players such as hazard. rclxub.gif
*
new tactic need times.
chill out lerrr

no need to push the panic button.

Nah,after the season starts running, you don't have time for that.
If Man City needs time with their new tactic last season, they would have still been in drought for trophy. rclxub.gif
Any news about players coming in Chelsea? I don't keep my up so much with the transfer window. biggrin.gif
*
3 win out of 3 in the PL & u're claiming the new tactic or whtever it is called as failure edi?

OK.i respect ur opinion then cool2.gif

& iinm Mancini to Man City on somewhere middle of season in 2009-2010
only to win the title last year,

so yeah..argument is invalid

I don't say the tactic is a failure,I'm just saying that it's not suited for this game.
You do realize the season before Man City win their title they opted to defensive tactic(most clean sheet in epl),only to use attacking tactic last season with the presence of Aguero, nasri, etc. So my argument is valid. smile.gif
*
i'm not sure since when Man City play defensively.
wiki check 2010/11 they spent 120+ mils to play defensively?
then they really have a good owner then.. thumbup.gif

errr chelsea oso same goal conceded(33 goals) but got better (2nd place) in that season bro

Horrible defending..poor pass and too fancy for me..

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Sep 1 2012, 05:34 AM)
anybody else got worried when they saw mikel and lamps in the pivot and ramires on the wing? i did. true enough, midfield lacked urgency/defensive solidity and was bypassed so easily it was unreal, and ramires was a passenger on the RW. i honestly don't believe atletico are a much better team than newcastle. yes their passing / movement and pressing are good, but they're not too far apart, those two. yet we got smashed by the spanish side. i think RDM needs to decide quickly on the best pivot and wing combo. he's in danger of becoming too much of a tinkerman at the moment. personally, i like bertrand on the left, while mata and hazard constantly swap positions. moses on the RW for our next game vs QPR please. he can make that position his own.
*
bertrand crossing sometimes oso not good.
vs newcastle many times he just smashed the ball to the box.

maybe need to use him based on opponents.
perhaps we shud use him earlier to contain arda turan sweat.gif
