Guys no one having wifi connection problems with their S3?

Having problems connecting to both routers in my home, but not to my other tethered phone.

tried turning wifi power saving mode OFF, to no avail.
*
When you can connect to your other tethered phone, means your phone wifi no problem. Its your router setting i guess.

no problem for me.

some manufacture will lock the extra potential function to their device due of marketing tactic. same like our ram detect 7++... shud be if want detect suppose at 0.99 gb right.. but lte maybe need extra chips thats why slightly bigger. im quite disapointed with not with 2gb ram lol... but its okla, im not into gamming much. more on using tor emote my server at my office.lol
*
Basically s3 have 1gb of ram. 220is locked for android os. 780 is user accessable. Its not a marketing tactic.

hello, under the mobile network setting thr ,gt two option:data packet which is tick previously n the data roaming which untick, shud i tick the data roaming oso??wat the diff between them?
*
the top one is the same as the data toggle .
as for the second one its for you to switch on data when you roam .

eg : using umobile data on celcom line (edge only)

if u use mobile odin
when u open a tar file for flashin
it will flash

-recovery
-kernel
-modem

n some others i forgot
bt i think it flash 5 things together when u flash a firmware

modem is the one tat controls our reception n such
tat is why u see there are many diff modems
*
^ this , i know. I did open up the tar file and see every files in it. nod.gif
QUOTE(Eiraku @ Jul 14 2012, 07:07 PM)
USUALLY, a new modem IN the new firmware does this. The firmware itself does nothing much to "improve data stability" - unless got network related bugfixes. Why? A modem file OPTIMIZES network performance according to LOCATION. That's why a UK modem is not necessarily good even though it's "newer" then your SEA modem.

Tested CheckROM nothing special for me. Back to Wanamlite + self modding.

I'm enjoicing the HD screen very much - reminds me of my old retina days.
*
sweat.gif haha, i know.
Was asking whether the new SEA modem improve network performance .As this caught my attention.

I actually... don't know. I flashed Wanam 1.6 IMMEDIATELY after getting my S3, so I have limited experience with other modems.

I do feel it's better than what the current CheckROM ships with though, and it's definitely better than my old S2.
*
I flashed from alf6 to checkrom2.5 then back to stock as it doesnt feel smooth in some of my games.
then flashed uk rom , when calling, first 2-5sec is like muted @.@.
then flashed checkrom3.5 same minor lag in certain games.. no prob on call.
then went to vanamlite BLG1 till current. Its smooth for me. Just that glassboard is kinda stutter occasionally.

IF only triangle is not available , i think my binary count must be more than 10+ doh.gif
