not as easy as that. but i believe those heavy graphic games publisher would want to give the same treatment to other capable phones as well thus explaining the easy tweaking this time for DT. but they couldnt make it easier like what they give to Tegra since Nvidia do inject em some sort of fund to have the Tegra3-powered games gimmick reach to average consumers, making them think that Tegra is the best, thus increasing sales for them.

to me, Nvidia aint bad. They just want their products to do good in sales. With them, games are, no doubt, nicer due to the fact that they pust games developers to improve graphics on mobile devices. But that doesnt make their Tegra the best. Ours are teh best! Only have to do a lil bit of tweakings here and there.

what ROM are you on?

without CWM manager, it's fine. it makes things easier to go into recovery, download mode etc. with custom ROMs with options to boot into recovery, download mode, CWM manager is now useless to me.

thats because iPhone specs are not varied like in the Android world. That's what Apple are good in doing, I'd give credit to em for this. They have been maintaning constant specs, easier for publishers, thus you could see why there are plenty of games are there in the AppStore that we Android dont have. And their latest devices, it aint weak. Usually games developers would release their games in the AppStore 1st then only to Android since Android have plenty of specs around. more works needed to be done to optimise em for each spec.

and what Nvidia do is simply to take advantage of hi-line Android devices coz they are in it, supplying their own processors to HP manufacturers. And to me, they have done a pretty good job. Ive read Qualcomm are gonna follow their way in releasing Qualcomm-optimised games etc but to this date, I havent seen any prgress of it yet.

sometimes. strong hardware alone without the backing ups from the manufacturers mean nothing. Tegra3 aint the best in the becnhmark, it's solid but not the best, but see what Nvidia are doing. They play their parts in making developers more interested in making their games Tegra-optimised coz they dont mind paying some moolahs (that no doubt lor coz Nvidia are rich ) but where's ARM, where's Qualcomm? Now you know why their existent aint that bad at all in Android community.

but still in Android, the best thing is we have plenty of devs around, like Chainfire. Like i said, we, non-Tegra users might have to do a bit of works in making our games as pretty as Tegra-based but still with devs support around, we could be there, just a lil bit late than what the Tegra users get.

thanks for the feedback. I'd stay with CheckROM then. and ya i'd agree, CheckROM 3.5 with its stock kernel does give a really good battery life. it makes me think twice too to change to other custom kernels as well.

100% stay for so long oso u guys worry. if drain fast oso worry.

u need 3rd-party app for that. the built-in only shows how long the battery has been running on its own, and what apps have been using ur juice. estimation on how long, where got. install any bat saver app sure you'll get the ur battery kong when la. though it's just estimation. not accurate at all.

had a look in Samsung Apps, end up downloaded 3games, Doodle Fit, Puzzle 2 and Eternal Legacy HD. The 1st two are really nice. Now downloading Eternal Legacy, requires 500MB+ of storage space.

KIES can be used still even ur phone is rooted provided you still stay on a stock firmware by Samsung. but if you allow any OTA update to ur phone, it means you will lose your root, thats all.

lol bro, for Nilkin and Benks, RM36 for me is overpriced. that's why i asked 1st what the brands are? if others like Spigen i wouldnt comment one coz it packs quality with it though the Flex HD never impressed me.

the phone was wet, so warranty kong ady, then that smart ass thought he could dry it up in a microwave lol. ended up blowing it out instead.

and Samsung were too nice givin him a replacement unit. after this, if accidentally damage our phone, simply put it into the microwave and ask for direct replacement from Samsung liao~ Samsung are rich ady.
