Well the other chars are normal villagers, basically can do everything except flex your mayoral powers aka change ordinance and build projects.

Don't sell or eat the first perfect fruit you find, plant it. You need wait alot for first week or so to build house/get approval for mayoral powers/unlock island so just take it easy.

Because the game runs based on real time, people change the date/time to exploit/quicken things. Which totally beats the point of the game to me but it's your own game so do whatever you want. Your animals will start call you time traveler if you set back your time/date backwards.

Genji still here everyday at mainstreet stalking my shops, this ain't being visitor anymore...it's like he's really still living here :V

Emporium grand opening

Genji finally confessed why he's coming back everyday.

More specifically, Joan appears from 6am till 12pm. So if you can't play during 'normal' morning time well...try wake up wee early morning then?

Or just perm adjust your ingame time appropriately so it fits your playtime better. Just don't bother set back to normal time else all your turnips will spoil.
