did you rooted? if yes, use TB check. might be freeze/disable for unknown reason. defrost it if yes.
if not, use root explorer check /system/app. check is the book.apk there?

seem like majority of custom rom user on bigxie now. hopefully AOKP faster complete their build. I know it's take time for them....
