i've tried one actually last night in samsung. beats the heck out of s2 by a reasonable margin. couldn't compare though with iphone 4s coz someone was "phone-hogging" it in the apple store.

4s and s3 are both being offered here in globe (one of the leading comms company here) at the same very nice package.

The design is the only thing stopping me from buying it . Samsung designer 

I am pitching for Chinese made Huawei phone due to my concern on Samsung's selective product upgrade.

That S3 is reasonably smoother, colour wise, I prefer pebble blue.

personally i don't have issues with the design. s3 can be quite big for some people, but i have big hands and it fits perfectly with me. the thing is the material they used on the back panel - with its size and the material, there may be tendencies that it may slip off my hand, especially with sweaty hands (though can be remedied by a jelly case)

my other issue is having no hardware pads - i've been used to qwerty pads, but texting using the screen is a lot easier in s3 compared in my xperia pro.

OS is smooth as silk. on the dot bro. if you like s2, you'll drool over s3 for sure.

One X design on the other hand . 

heyyy SE packs a good camera and music player! i used to have an SE walkman phones (the first gen), and it was really good

i'd prefer s3's pebble blue over marble white.

i read this Huawei phone somewhere, but sadly we don't have any mainstream dealers in here

One X is still cheaper than S3 . I saw a few thread in garage sale selling rm1699

cant say anything about huawei but it looks promising. but nexus will be a good choice, esp if you like big screens, very good display and crisp response. 8mp cam is mediocre (though very fast response, almost zero lag), but can still make great shots.

right sorry it's 5MP haha, and yea 16GB internal + ZERO expansion.
