Semi Pro -> 60D,7D. Pro Level ->1Ds Mark III, 1DMark IV , 5D Mark II, 5D Mark III, 1DX
Lens -> Cheaper price and more variant.
Video recording SUPERB
A lot of sexy colour.
Touch Screen and user friendly UI

CANON can save bucks. User friendly.


Nikon
Very boring variant Entry level DSLR->D3100, D3200, D5100. Semi Pro->D90, D7000, D300s
Pro->D700 [stopped production in Jap], D800, D800E, D4, D3s [stopped production in Jap] D3x and very expansive
Image quality abit better than Canon. Due to lens ma Price also
Video recording? So So only
but Nikon now into Megapixle vroom vroom. Max 36 Megapixle
Nikon? Not so user friendly UI. But hell who cares? Ah Pek won't care so much
Dull boring colour. Black........Red colour available for entry level like D3200 and D3100. but you can always repaint it as PINK if u want

NIKON CON you alot of moolah and ur camera set is coated with Gold Line. Not so user friendly. AND NO! NO touch screen.

basically that's about it la....no nid go so much into technical. In the end of the days, both take great photos.It is mere a tool for you to create your art work. Like what kelvin say....It is more into user preference.
