hello. newbie here

sooner or later, i'll receive brand new saga. we could not afford to buy those T, H, N, and Korean as it replacement, we've choose saga. We feel relief that we can go balik kampung this raya with brand new car, rather than current car which is getting old and we had spend thousand of rm to keep it in good condition. too many times breakdown at middle of road

may i know any disturbing issue when you guys receive your new saga? and what o look after you guys get it?

thanks

dares, drive 4AT and CVT got difference?
*
of course

4at have 4 gears. got extra gears depending on car make model.
when you floor the gas pedal, you can feel it change gear. while increase speeding, rpm will sudden drop few rpm's when change gear and climbing again

cvt have no gear. it endless
when you floor the pedal, you didnt feel gear change. while speeding rpm stays while speed increase until it stays on THAT speed depending on how deep you flooring the gas pedal.
have you ride scooter before? rolleyes.gif

in my experience, i drive so many cars and i know it difference

i know in theory, but i do wish i can experienced it myself..

you can test drive at showroom and feel the difference

IMO, cvt feels good. its really smooth. unlike 4at which is my current car, its jerking when change gear. i've drove my sister saga cvt base line. kinda like it. better than my current car which is t***ta

jap car  shocking.gif

in local car brand, flx se should be the boss at the moment
congratz bro, after get car u can ask dares how to change become super car...
*
yup. its made from jap

knowing of its trademark of reliability and quality of jap car, i though that i can keep her for years. but i was wrong. the older my car, the more spent on her. many things need to be replace. some part broken too. thousand of RMs need to use to make sure she in good condition. engine mounting, alternator, distributor cap, steering rack bla bla bla...you name it. its spareparts also hard to get and it cost more than local. its like all of its part vanished in this world year by year. have to rely on chop shop; if luckly have it. summore, she giving me problem recently (cannot start even already repaired). knowing this become serious and worried on this coming raya, we (with my wife) decided to get new car. better new car then used one. used one cannot be trusted on its history. now my current car can be used but cannot drive far. only go to place near my house, worried it breakdown again.

jap car good to own but prepared for the worst, jap car need more RMs to maintain. i used to own iswara before my current one. eventhough its not as good as jap, its cheap to maintain. i feel regret sell my iswara and get current one.

my dad's escape also high maintenance. it's 8 years already. servie as regular but when come wear and tear, it cost nuclear (not bomb). hehehe

my brother's brand new 207 also give problem, comes to 10k service, its gearbox jammed. luckyly got warranty. change its sensor and its good to go

my current ride is used sxv10

hahaha. funny la u guys rclxms.gif

yes. sxv10 is gen3 camry

sorry for giving code. actually, those jap car enthusiasm like myself use code to identify model
like sxv10 is gen3 camry, then sxv20 (gen4 camry), acv30 & 31 (gen5 camry, 2.0 and 2.4) and acv40 and 41 (gen6 camry)
honda also got but most popular is fd1 and fd2 (gen8 civic 1.8 & 2.0)
nissan also play2 code. b14 (sentra in year 2000) and b16 (current sentra)

for proton, i dunno. seriously. but giving engine type, i can now what car they used
4g13 and 4g15 used in iswara & saga 1.3 & 1.5
4g63 in 1.6 wira, 4g93 in putra

campro if im not mistaken, sph14 (1.3) and sph16 (1.6)

i heard somewhere, interval service 10k. betui ka? i thought 5k wor. and some say that they use petronas syntium 10w40 and most customer says not syok. sound rough

one of my member told me he purposely buy tesco EO 10w40 and put in his blm. he said better than syntium. im also tried it on my camry and he's right. engine super quiet. ohh. is API SL grade

this morning go to PE to pay the rest of dpayment. SA inform us we can collect the car monday or tuesday

while waiting his manager to issue receipt, we had chit chat. on free give, got steering lock, tng card and tinted vaucher. SA also tell stories on some customers complaining leaking below engine. According to him, this is because each end of petrol hose that thighten to engine and tank is still smoot (lembut). so when put in full tank petrol, the air inside tank will create a high pressure and pushed through this hose, make the pengikat (sorry, dunno pronounce in english) a bit losen and causing leaking. he says when i get the car, dont fill up full tank. let it at least half tank so it won give air heavy pressure in tank. then dont fill full tank after use 1 or 2 week. then the thighten will become harder, thanks to engine heat

he also inform that when transfering from factory to sijangkang, there; only small amount of petrol that new car can go untill 1km. this lets the air trapped in tank. just in case they use these small amt of petrol for moving purpose

finally, waiting almost over
