Official review of Luke's BLM SE+FSB
We started off awkward as I couldn't find the hole to poke key. Then a slow drive down hill slope, follow by a sharp left turn. A bike riding in opposite way scares the crap out of us, didn't manage to whack the corner. 1st impression on throttle response is, paper type air filter DID preserve the idling/low end torque. I like Luke's car as it felt like already "NUT", engine response is instant, or better decribed as sponteneous! Since that's not my car, I only do slow cruising around Damansara Perdana. After that, we proceed to Kota Damansara. On the way there, I did the GT500 tyre warm up action, clearly the steering response is different. As the car dive in each turn, the front wheel being torch up. I can feel the grip/traction is inline. However, this also amplified the weak body structure of the entire chassis, as I reverse steering action I felt the rear wheel is not catching up(I picture if there is a string that draw a line beneath the cockpit, it will produce a curve line), meaning the car bent! Follow by a huge pothole I dodged, steering action is good, less feedback though. I was expecting more. We make a sharp turn in to the direction of Giant at 80kmh which I normally do. Now, the magic happened. Previously my car without any bars taking that corner to TT with Huzaifa, at 80kmh turn I will have the hesitation of not sure where will I ended up. I'll have to contantly adjust my angle to avoid plunge into the traffic light or the cars from the opposite road. With FSB in BLM SE, I did that corner with a fix angle, no correction needed!
Whilst testing with Luke's car, those are the feedback I can furnish. I conclude it as, sharp, sponteneous, more feedback as advantage of FSB. Downside is, the slorppy chassis has been emphasized, numb rear feedback & cockpit bent is very noticeable.
Luke took a short test on mai sick BLM. He kept sayin my car loossy goossy, rattlin noise everywhere. As he went through a u-turn, he can tell the entire difference between FSB and FSB+RSB. My rear wheel is tracking my front wheel as it goes. He claim steering wheel is more heavy due to 15" footwork. As we reaching Penchala Link, we stretched our legs abit tauke downhill to reach Penchala U-turn. I can tell Luke oversteered, turned in too early. But he cleverly double clutched to 2nd shift, continue the corner with slight oversteer and rev all the way up to 80kmh completed the u-turn! Awesome driving skill! Must say he's driving like a N1 racer. Getting out of Penchala link is a slight uphill slope, we accidently over took a dugong + golf TSI, I read speedo is only 120kmh. They didn't give chase, as we seperated to Damansara Perdana, they went Kepong.
Official BLM FSB+RSB road test being completed with a plate of daging merah + nasi*2 + teh ais + roti kaya butter. Had a short chat, proceed to my house change to Iswaga... Then agenda went haywire! Tauke night with Luke across MRR2, having fun with a Nissan Xtrail at Jln Kuching, 3rd gear pull from 60kmh to 140kmh, skipping roadblocks, smoke the police, bully Kancil, sam pat kat eksiden, see car turtle, watch wira lose control... Enjoyable 2 hours tauke+winding heat with Luke.
Short note from Luke, "need to arrange another winding heat with his BLM SE on the same road!" And I believed RSB poison worked!

ma kai, so long story... cannot cut short meh... crap crap no need to mention.... wakakaka..
btw nice to hear u both love the FSB+RSB... may be u should try UR as well... wakkaka but UR rear too stiff now...
