QUOTE(dares @ Jul 14 2012, 08:27 PM) Anyway, just for discussion's sake: since FLX springs are stiffer, would it result in the chassis actually flexing more than the BLM/FL? that's why a FSB/RSB reinforcement will be more noticable in an FLX than a BLM/FL? I think your hypothesis sounds very logical. Softer springs = less force transmitted to chassis = less flex.Pictures to come soon I tried paying more attention to the handling during my drive today to the UM exam hall and back. Perhaps it rides better over bumps (less wobble) but unlike the FLX owners I can't really feel much difference, especially the steering. I remember zukjka mentioning that the steering was heavier immediately after a short slalom run along the road Unker David, if I ever get to meet you before I move back to Penang I'll let you have a go and you can then tell the difference between FSB only and FSB+RSB |

QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jul 16 2012, 03:25 PM) i found out that my long beep sound came from the speaker of the alarm I doubt it's the speaker problem. Something else is causing your speaker to beep so maybe look at the alarm system?far right upper side of the engine compartment there written on it is the code of the product...PW855846 and it said multi code mind asking is it possible is the speaker problem and change the speaker only? |

QUOTE(dares @ Jul 17 2012, 06:23 PM) Me too. QUOTE(redshark_999 @ Jul 17 2012, 06:08 PM) Me! QUOTE(davidke20 @ Jul 17 2012, 12:29 AM) Bear with it for awhile, after 2~3 times engine oil changed it will back to what you've previously expected. Next time don't simply change your sparkplug if there is nothings wrong with it. My case is different, already flooded with carbon, clocked 19k km. 2-3 times means 20k-30k km. That's a long time more! It's all part of the 40k km service. I think I've been using these all this while. How long do they normally last? QUOTE *NOT POISON* thank you for the offer, in return I let you try FSB+RSB. What day you're more free in the evening around 4~6pm? I stay Bandar Sri Damansara, RM1.60 x 2 toll I can still afford to pay you a visit. Not really free this week. Will let you know |

QUOTE(dares @ Jul 18 2012, 04:10 AM) Wanna compare notes with those who just installed the FSB, especially zukjka and Mieza. Actually after driving today I can probably say that the FSB helps stability quite a bit. Like I said before it goes well over bumps now. And I think I'm starting to feel the difference in corners. Less body roll Do you guys feel any different when driving on a relatively straight road such as MRR2 / Kesas? The best I can describe is that the steering feels more sensitive than before, like a slight movement would cause the car to pull to one side. I knew FSB would increase steering response, but I didn't expect this on a straight, wide road. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I have to pay more attention until I am used to it I have not done a lot of driving this few days, let alone hard driving. But I can confirm that cornering definitely feels much more syok Tenkiu +newbie+ for poisoning me Just finished my last paper today. I think I was too stressed to feel the difference then Driving to LCCT tomorrow night. Will let you know how it feels at high speeds on the highway, but I think Mieza can tell you that already QUOTE(davidke20 @ Jul 18 2012, 08:42 AM) Waiting for Mieza & Zukjka confirmation. But I can confirm WITH RSB the car can drift Oh actually I'm free this evening Luke is not free this week, but next week is the last week of July liao not sure whether still got chance to trash a BLM SE with FSB QUOTE(eqmal197 @ Jul 18 2012, 03:10 PM) This post has been edited by lhwj: Jul 18 2012, 03:14 PM |

On another note, latest tank is 8.0L/100km |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Jul 20 2012, 06:29 AM) Time for the calibration. Generally it wouldn't help much, but atleast 0.5km/litre is what you'll be expecting. Is there anyway we can find out what is the original setup for the gap? Bear in mind that I have driven to LCCT on previous occasions and the consumption then was more like 6.xL/100km. So it's a pretty big increase. I estimate that I've lost about 100 km of range on every tank. Hitting 400 km is so difficult now. What more the new XM2 tyres are supposed to have lower rolling resistance so it's really a slap in the face to me that after spending so much on tyres, battery and the 40k service FC gets much worse I really have no idea about the spark plugs. I don't even know if they are adjustable. I didn't know the spark plug gap could make such a huge difference, previously I thought the ECU got reset when they changed my battery but then again it's not reasonable either. Can we experiment with the gap using trial and error? Actually looking back on my Fuelly log I can see that early last year I was struggling to go below 8.0 and I couldn't hit 400 km a tank. Then the two gradually occurred more and more often until it was almost routine. Until now. If you wanna analyse my chart see here. QUOTE We can arrange time to sapu corner before you leave. But need to choose a proper road and do it discretely. Lot of chiarymarkan lately Another midnight MRR2 trip QUOTE As of the bolded... refer below quote from private message. The user manual says the spark plug type is NGK BPR6EF-11, and I found this. It says gap is 1.1. Unit is mm?

Wehen I first got my Gaga I ran it on RON97. This was before the sorhigh price increase. Loved the power and smoothness. Been more than a year since a drop of RON97 entered my tank.anyhow, why RON 97 so expensive... |
