Looking for one iPad 32GB but still cannot decide which one to go.I'm definitely need a data plan (using broadband)

Most of the time i need iPad to navigate GPS and suft for information.

Ipad 3+Cellular+Wifi

PRO
- Easier to carry.
- No need worry about the battery of mifi modem.

CON
-Expensive RM400 than wifi model.

Ipad 3+Wifi only

PRO
-Save RM400 can spend on cover/SP .

CON
- Need to take mifi modem along.
- Afraid of battery running down of modem.

So what do you guys think? Give me some more pros and cons that i havent think about. Thanks !

P/S note : Mifi modem is very portable, just like a pendrive(bigger). Easier to carry as well.

As for me, iPad wifi serve me just good enough, I got a smart phone with unlimited data plan. I can tether whenever I need it outside. However I find that most of the time I was using wifi. Wifi was just too common now adays. Anyway this is very subjective to particular person. My 2 cents.

Very similar to my situation.
Get a WIFI iPad, tether it with a smartphone will do.
Most of the smart phone can do this already.

If im not mistaken, wifi only model doesnt have gps. Since you mention that you'll be needing gps, then 4g model is compulsory.

Worth the extra 400 bucks. Huawei C5 MiFi already 300 bucks. Plus, WiFi model no GPS chip. Add another 150 bucks for BT GPS and need to JB the iPad. Too much hassle.

1.ipad

by the way , i using wifi 32G only and most of the time i tether it with a smartphone. If i need to look for location ,just using google map.Google map also can help you relocation. For me ,i'll use additional 400 to get 64G,32G not much

people are very visual by nature. u put a ipad side by side even with the highest specs android tablet, the ipad looks so wonderfully beautiful. but don't be deceived by its looks. it doesn't claim that "it only does everything". and even their marketing doesn't claim that.

but between 3g version and wifi version. that's hard to say depending on your needs. but look at it this way: its now a defacto standard that all high end tablets have GPS, at least in the android world. since ipad is high end, you should not compromise for 2nd best.

Why Ipad?

Im android and apple user.

I prefer apple tablet than android tablet. Simple, neat, stable and smooth.(my opinions, android also stable)

I dont use iPad for show off like others. Most of the time i keep my iPad inside my bag unless i need to use it. I need for note-taking , magazine reader , and many more. Moreover i dont buy iPad for facebook purpose or gaming or replace my laptop. I just liked to read whenever am i so i can spend my time wisely instead of playing game. I spent most of my time at outside waiting public transport and so on. It is impossible to ask me carry many books when i go outside , so iPad can help me.

But for smartphone i prefer android than apple.

your service provider can also provide information on aproximately where u are (base on the line setup). but it won't be exact. have u used google map without gps on? what will happen is google maps will give u a approximate circle on where u are. and that circle radius can be pretty big. and coz of that, the direction navigator won't work. basically u just will know where u approximately are, and that's it. no other gps service can be used.

Given the bolded part, opt for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
