- 1% Additional Cashback on ALL online purchases
[Example: You can COMBO it when you buy GSC movie tickets Online, giving a total of 11% Cashback]

Yaya exactly what i've meant, the 1% ADDITIONAL online cashback is one of the option from "3 extra categories to choose from", which should be FOC, and able to stack on top of the existing cashback (keyword: ADDITIONAL online cashback, can refer to the GSC movie ticket example). Just not sure if it works the same on airasia ticket/hotel purchase.

Please correct me if i am wrong... wish to get confirmation from all sifus~ thanks!!  notworthy.gif

It is not FOC, you need to pay if you want to "buy" additional category

I am in trensetter.
But already swap to savvy + dining
And i still able to change again before the effective date. As long as your "next package category" is updated in your creditcard before effective date. Then your cashback category will be updated in next quarter. (And charge rm5.3/category if have additional category outside package)

Correct me if i am wrong

T&C here: https://www.machbyhongleongbank.com/product...ch-credit-card/

6. All new enrolment for the Package and Add-On Category(ies) at the point of application for Mach Card will take effect 24 hours following the confirmation of the same.
7. All enrolment not performed at the point of application for Mach Card will be based on a 3-month period with the effective date ("Effective Date") preset to the 1st of each calendar quarter. The Effective Date of each Package and Add-On Category(ies) will automatically be renewed every calendar quarter unless the Cardholder change their selection accordingly. Each calendar quarter begins on the 1st of Jan, 1st of April, 1st of July, and 1st of Oct respectively.

You can add the category now but the effective of cash back will be next calendar quarter.

i wonder if holding too many cards will affect future house loan? planning to get a new prop for own stay, but i wonder will the cards affecting my loan applications/approval or not  blush.gif

You can always reduce the credit limit, i don't think it will affect your housing loan much.

Cash back follows MCC, not only limited to Malaysia.
Well, but you need to take note of the service charge, forex and etc. to see if it is worth or not.
*
5% cb is good enough to cover the admin charge (1%)
for forex, i feel master or visa rate is better than those currency exchange counters.

I tried before at Burton Menswear, it is not working as well.
I guess if they do list the merchant, mean they are not using MCC code to trace. Same like Wise card mobile cateory

Hi guys!

Thinking of applying for this Credit Card due to the 5% dining cashback. Is it really all dining retail will get cashback? Tried finding a list of dining retail/restaurants but couldn't find any. Totally understand it's excluding bars and drinking places of course (that would be under the Nightlife category).

I usually eat at places like Sushi Zanmai/Sushi Tei, Nandos etc and usually goes up to RM400~600. So thought of getting some cash rebate from there.

And for the categories, if we choose like Trendsetter package, automatically we're included for all 3 categories right? Dining, Style and Travel. And only if I want to choose 1 more category (e.g: Health & Fitness), I will need to pay extra RM5 per month for 3 months (1 quarter). Correct kah?

Was thinking of getting some cash rebate for my gym membership also lol. Anyone know if it's possible to have 2 gym accounts (different names) under 1 same Credit Card? For Celebrity Fitness.

Also, I was checking the T&C and FAQ but couldn't find any minimum payment per month. Do we need to swipe a certain amount in order to get the cash back? For instance, my UOB card need to swipe RM300 and more per month to get petrol rebate.

Thanks in advance for the clarification above!
*
I tried Nandos before, no problem to get 5% rebate.
Yes, if you need to choose extra category, you need to pay extra RM5. If i not wrong, the extra category will not be active immediately once you pay it, please check t&c.
No min spend require to get cash back.

Please see post#1 for the category you can add. I don't think you can pick and choose anything, but limited to those categories described.
*
You may login hongleongconnect, click on mach cc > customise, you will see all add on categories, there is "Fitness First, True Fitness, Celebrity Fitness, GNC, and
Guardian" category you can choose to add.

Thats disappointing

Which Coffee Bean outlet you went?
Mach cover mcc5811, 5812 and 5814 for dining cash back.
The outlet you went might be under mcc5813 (drinking place)

Tried to use Visa PayWave at two outlets today, AEON and McD, both times failed. Wondering if it's my card problem? PayWave does not need any kind of activation for new cards right?
*
No issue for me to use paywave for both local and oversea swipe.
No activation is needed to use paywave.
