called to cancel mach last week. received retention call offer - swipe 6x within a month of any amount and they will cashback rm25 on the anniversary. i proceed to cancelled though.

How I wished I can cancel the card with this kind of retention offer.. too bad I’ve ongoing BT with HLB which I can’t do early settlement due to the penalty.. else, I will try luck to cancel it..

when I called to cancel the card, they never offer any retention cashback.

if they have, I would have keep the card. One of the best cashback card for dining, without any minimum spending required.

maybe because I already have HLB fortune thats why they didn't offer me.

i have essentials tied to BT, so didn't get to cancel that yet. as for mach, they called me after a week or so. told me she look at my expenditure quite ok etc. but for me just chose to cut the card since now we have Bigpay with PBB cashback promo. should be more than enuf for ikan bilis like me. lol.
