got me tix for next month, a last minute impromptu trip
now hunting for accommodation, anyone stayed at Heritage Hotel b4? how's the experience? or anyone can recommend me one? this is my criteria: Budget per night: less than RM150 w/ bf per night very near to BTS Must have free wifi/internet in room Heritage Hotel kinda fits my criteria, but there's mixed review of it on tripadvisor |

QUOTE(cynnz @ Sep 20 2012, 02:05 PM) raining everyday heavily? im going next week..hopefully it gets better...the rain normally whole day or just awhile? during my visit it was raining on and off for few hours dailymixture of heavy & light rain, but hardly any sun, as it's cloudy when it's not raining my advice? bring a foldable umbrella or raincoat when it's heavy rain, even walking on the BTS skywalk aren't safe from the rain, still get my jean half soaked on Sunday from our tour back from Ampawa, one of the highway was flooded slightly less than knee deep but luckily our tour van still can brave the flood and managed to get home safely |

just take the cab lor... it's still dirt cheap compared to KLIA or other country's airport cab fare
just make sure it's the public cab, not the airport limousine service during my last visit, we took cab mostly as it's cheap & most energy conserve way of traveling except during the the rush hour which is super jam then we use the MRT/BTS the most expensive fare we paid is 120Bath when the driver refused to use meter due to it's late & raining. |

tried a few variation of padthai from a few restaurant and road side stalls
most are crap, especially those from restaurant the best we had are from the Ampawa floating market, sold from the boat, ate at the shore yum~~~ missed the BBQ squid there too, all are fat and juicy, tip in their chili sauce... oh~~ I'm in heaven |
