Nana plaza should be same like soi cowboy also. Just bars with bar girls dancing. Some ladies walkin around trying to get customers...

I tried T&K in Chinatown. Not bad... For me the price is cheap. We had big prawns, oyster omelette, crabs ( didn't quite like their curry style) and Thai style steam fish.

We love dining at T & K so so delicious and cheap cheap cheap

Take bts can reach or must by cab?
Takut kena scam by cab or tuktuk or not? I read that cabs or tuktuk will con tourists ie. take them to the 'fake' somboon seafood
*
BY MRT to Hua Lamphong station then 15 minutes walk to yaowarat road -chinatown
Walking in the night not advisable coz the road from there to yaowarat is very deserted unless you reach there early before night
You might have to take a Tuk tuk or Cab
usually depends where you from and to there is about 100 bahts
Somboon seafood is famous and got few outlets and always packed need reservation and the food is not good at all.

I think you have to split into two different hotel since you are distance away from bangkok city or
You can actually check into one hotel in Bangkok and spend a day drive to amphawa floating market as is only 1.5 or 2 hours drive from bangkok
I really cant see much you can spend at amphawa, nothing much for a day visit.
WE have travel from early from Bangkok to maeklong railway market by 9 in the morning then to Damnern Saduak floating market by 10 before 12 as they closes by then. You can still chose to go to amphawa ( opens whole day till night) as it is quite near from Damnern saduak floating market.
We charted a luxury van that can fit 8 person comfortably and is cost us RM 300 including petrol
This is only my suggestion so dont worry sometimes you have to follow what you decided
Have a great time and always remember you're the tourist and always be alert of the surroundings smile.gif

On your 4th day
6:30pm to Platinium Fashion Mall closes early my advise you need at least 4 hours shopping there and finish before 7

If you're looking for a good map with attractions clearly marked, get a Groovy map which can be bought from major bookstores like Kinokuniya, Borders and MPH.

Also if you're going to a floating market, I would recommend Taling Chan. Not many tourist and lots of locals go there. Not very big but authentic.

If you really want to experience the local life, you should take public transports like the river express boat, khlong san sap, public buses and the motorcycle taxis. You can also try the tuk-tuk but there's a risk of getting ripped off unless a local flags it down for you. Avoid good english speaking people. They're most probably, if not surely, scammers. Also not to forget the BTS and MRT. Lots of traffic jam so taxis are not really my thing. Didn't even take one when I was there recently. Did a lot of walking too.

Must check out Taling chan. Thanks nod.gif
