Hihi,
Let me take this opportunity to ask one question.

I plan to go to Tawandang German Brewery at Rama 3 on a taxi. Can you roughly estimate the taxi fare from pratunam to there?

If I recall correctly, that place is quite secluded and getting a ride back to pratunam may be a problem. Any idea on how to overcome this?

Thank you so much!

Hi, nice to meet you,

Unfortunately that I nerver take taxi from pratunam to Tawandang German Brewery ar Rama3 but I have asked my friend who used to take the taxi from pratunam to German Tawandang. He said it about 100 THB depends on the traffic.

Traffic at pratunam is not good in the weekday evening because both student and officer are going home.

Beginning with 35 Baht and it will increase next 2 Baht to be 37, 39, 41 and so on depends on  the traffic and distance.

Here is the program for calculating taxi meter rate

Maeklong train market, Tiger Temple, Damnoen Saduak floating market --> You can go on group tour/private tour, usually 1 day tour is sufficient. I engaged my tour from Canary Travel and Tour which is located near Khao San Road.
Hi, can you share the contact and the price? Do we need to make early reservation or walk in? Thanks smile.gif

It's really a small travel agent in KhaoSan. But I engaged her service because she (Chan) can speak English, so that makes conversation easier. I emailed her before my trip to ask for quotation (she is prompt in replying), and gave her a call from the hotel when I was in Bangkok to confirm my tour with her. If you are not sure how to get to her office, hail a cab, call her again and let her speak to the taxi driver. She'll explain her office location to the driver.

There's a trick though. To confirm and book the tour, you may need to pay via credit card. BUT there's another option if you are cautious. Tell her that you'll be there earlier (by 2 hours) and pay her cash. We did that, and to our surprised, she gave us discount when we paid her cash!

Nice, thanks for the payment tips!
