Tell me the difference between these two.
And which one do you prefer? and why.

I have both games, BF3 on Origin and MW3 on Steam.

If your current gaming rigs / laptops are quite decent, play Battlefield 3. Better graphics and more solid. Battlefield 3 single player missions have its own epic moments as well. Multiplayer has high replayability.

Modern Warfare 3 is only good if you're really into Call of Duty games, whereby you're a lone wolf and you hate teamwork. So far I've played several team-based game modes in Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops which include Search and Destroy, Domination, team members don't give shits about the flags and objectives. Each of us just focus on kills and KDR. Single player is quite good compared to Battlefield 3.



Both games are great anyways, but new games will be out end of this year.

The downside is that you have to buy premium contents and DLC. Battlefield PREMIUM for Battlefield 3. Modern Warfare 3 Collection 1 and Collection 2 for COD MW3. If not, I can see that no one really plays on older maps, except for those overrated maps like Operation Metro, Caspian Border.

-many hackers
-many laggers (depends who is the host)
-have perks that will help u in game
-lots of weapons to play with (unlock weapons in certain levels)
-unlock attachment for weapons by leveling the weapons level
-Variety of game modes
-Hacker prevention system not really good (hackers still can be seen)


BF3
-need to know the map very well
-all guns have different feel, if shoot high fire rate it is fast.. if low fire rate is really low fire rate. Basically, different feel with every guns (depends on preference)
-attachments on weapons need to use it to unlock the attachments
-have four different classes: assaults, engineer, supports and recons
-have lots of server which is good... the smoothness or lagness is depends on server not players...
-Premium: allows u to go in the game 1st(even ur are queueing in last spot if the people don't have premium), pay rm159 and u can get all the expansions... sept 2012 will have armored kill expansions.. so it will automatically download for u.
-lots of maps.. and map is very very very big.
-many vehicles for u to play
-levelling is difficult
-awesome graphics
-there are hackers but not many
-no laggers depending on the server u join
-no perks that make u look like superhuman. Depends on ur guts to survive.
-realistic (wall explodes really explode! BOOM! wall gone!
-Hacker prevention system way better than MW3 (rarely see hackers)
-Detail stats for ur KDR and ur win lose rate.
-Certain weapons need to complete assignments to obtain it.

Well.. i not sure what to list out... for me MW3 (7/10) BF3 (8.5/10).. BF3 is more fun for me.. realistic game play.. both games need teamwork.. well as long u play with friends there will be teamwork...BF3 are listening to consumers which is us. There will fix the problem a.s.a.p.. and they do it real fast... MW3 well.. problem will always remain there... for me MW3 creators are more to making money than giving us a really good time enjoy playing MW3. At 1st was fun until keep meeting hackers in game and i turn to BF3. I had tons of fun with BF3. Once a while still play MW3. TO MW3 fans, I am not degrading MW3, I love the game too but is just that they don't take it serious cause I feel is a waste of money and time with problem with hackers and lagging issues.. We pay to enjoy the game not to get piss off with hackers and laggers.. and earlier the server down.. and no one knows why... BF3 at least got post out why they close the servers temporarily...

BF3 have their own problems actually with Malaysian connections to Singapore servers. If you are running anything slower than 2mbps, chances are u are going to have intermittent connection lag. It happens all the time in most singapore servers. There are no local servers for Malaysians.

Also, Premium bf3 is more expensive although it has more contents. Ironically, I feel that region servers are not very keen with the the new close quarters maps. Moreover, BF3 small maps(especially CQB maps) are horribly designed because spawn trap is very common and easily done with frag spamming and what nots. Things may change when armoured kill comes but lets see.

Hacker prevention in BF3 is BS atm cause the only way to spot a hacker is by stat comparing. It is also difficult to know if a hacker is walling because the kill cam woks differently in BF3.

Quite the contrary, there are perks in the form of specialization like Ammo increase or speed increase.

Realism in BF3 is gimmicky. Not all walls are destroyable :/

And about updates, it took them months to fix Usas frags; how is that ASAP? MW3 gaykimbo nerf took within weeks.

I am glad that you are having fun with BF3 but I just feel the need to point out the problems faced in BF3 too.

I find BF3 very difficult to pick up, MW3 is as simple as knowing your setup, aiming well and knowing the map well. Hopefully this helps?

ya i agree with u too.. certain walls cannot be destroyed... every new stuffs sure have problem.. need to patch it... i bet when armour kill come out there will b patches for it...

tats the problem i faced earlier.. is easy to get used to it.. no worries... play a few games and u will b good

i go to BF3 myself as the multiplayer experience is better than MW3 IMO.
i not saying MW3 is boring but BF3 have larger map and vehicle warfare is more attractive to me although i am more on infantry fight. but the vehicle experience that BF3 have is way more better as you can have best of both world ingame rather than only CQ fight that MW3 based on.

both have their own pros and cons.. anyway i saw my friend's friend post on his wall i bflog.. he give him the forum link and i have a look at it.. he got banned coz his name in game is KingOfNipples.. ya.. no kididng. he got banned and is perma id ban. so let u guys know who play bf3.. pls dun choose nickname tat considered indecent.. well... i duno wat bf3 staffs doing... they shud ban racists and hackers than ban ppl id name coz of the word nipples. No game company is perfect. all is about money to them. I still play both games though. Just becareful guys.

ya i heard a few cases where indecent id or uses of foul language can get u banned. i think they trying to control the community to be a bit thoughtful.
i agree both games have theirs pros and cons. it just depend on their preferences of their type of game.
BF3 more on teamwork and vehicle warfare
MW3 more on solo and CQ fight

my internet line has been shitty nowadays... 5mbps and asia server can be laggy... too many ppl subscribe to unifi and the line is not stable but i still can download 560+ kbps or more

Bf3 no doubt

I prefer MW3 to play. Don't think more just start to playing MW3.

easiest comparison between the two games in terms of multiplayer gameplay:

MW3: Solo game
BF3: team work intensive. Hard to enjoy the game playing alone unless you are playing the CQ expansion
