Btw, i am using normal mineral oil only !!! If use Synetic (tried) the oil will out of no reason vapourised and no oil left in engine, damm dangerous !!! Tried and freaked out when saw that after driving at highway !!! Imagine the consiquences that might happen. . . . . .
Now Caltex's normal mineral oil doesn't give me any problem liao ! :-)

I use bridgestone. Changed rims, BSA. Anyone changed sport rims here ? Usually which brand will u guys use ?

Hey guys ! Anyone experienced engine 'shievering' in the morning lately as the weather is quite cold now a days ? My wira after stopped for quite some time the car will 'shiever' when started , warm up very slow and sometimes engine will turn off out of a sudden if drive it straight away wiithout warming up ! Anyone have this sort of problem and anyone has the solution or knows the problem bout this ? I suspect the petrol i pammed is contaminated with water. . . any ideas ?

Ohmy, my engine compartment looks damm dirty now !!! Any idea how to clean it ? Water with mild soap doesn't work well. . .

Highway driving is not so petrol consuming as moderate speed all the way while city driving otherways ! My wira 1.3(M) with 195/60 15" rims can only do approx 250km with RM75 (city driving), seldom go outstation, so dun really know the highway comsumption yet. Wira actually quite makan minyak , the needle will remain quite high for the first 100km, then after going 100km, needle drops rapidly !!! That's my experience.

But i have tried full-synetic on my wira few years back and the problem arised is the "Minyak Hitam" just somehow "evaporated" and hilang. . . One day when checking the oil level after long distance travelling few hours before, i found that the oil level is close to nil, quickly added oil, imagine the concequences !

The latest problem i facong now is my Lower back compartment of my engine got black colour oil spraying out in moderate quantity causing burning plastic smell after some distance of driving, guess somehting just bocor-ed, gotta go workshop again soon when got time. . .

Ohmy. . . My Wira 1998's front hood cover starting to keluar "pop" aldy !!! Anyone got any suggestion where to buy a used one ? Izzit possible if i change to a mivec type or lancer type one ? Need any mod for those ?? And how much will it cost ? thx.

Another suggestion needed is for my paintjob. Feel like Renewing the current paint(not change colour) coz got chipped here and there. Mine is mettalic dark green, anyone know where to get a good paintjob ? And roughly how much would it cost ? thx.

Btw, it is not advisoble to have rear disc brake in low CC cars(esspeacially wira 1.3) as the acceleration in such cars are not as much as those with higher cubic capacity. . . There is a reason why engineers merched a pair of disc and a pair of drum for low CC cars. It is also dangerous if the car's(espeacially light cars) rear disc brake is not fine tune by an experienced mechanic. . . imagine ur rear brakes "eat" more than ur front brakes in an emergency braking situation. . . imagine when cornering. . . Therefore, it is not advisoble.

U should be able to get one from Brother's at around RM200++ excluding paintjob. Paintjob should cost another RM1x0, depents on type of paint.

If u wan less trouble, u can acctually order from Paint shop oso, they shold have contacts for these bumpers. . .

Geez. . . Lately my Wira not so responsive aldy, dunno why, sometimes it will be so responsive and pleasurable to be driven, tekan saja kereta pecut, while sometimes it feels kinda sluggish, tekan manyak-manyak hanya pecut sikit-sikit. Wonder why ???
