drop in also nit RM2++. coz K&N is branded air filter. it no nit change 1 once u buy it. jz nit clean up it den can d.

but ..... for open pod... the best open pod is Apexi rite.

the exhaust system got 3 part. extractor, center and muffler. for top speed den u can use 4-1 extractor and for pick up u can use 4-2-1 extractor. the stock in proton center is call CAT, normally the ppl will remove it and replace 1 and the design will like a bullet den ppl call it bullet. the s-flow exhaust is like the stock type and the straight flow is direct from extractor to the rear muffler. the straight flow will gv u better top speed, but it will very noisy.

There is a website comparing all 4 brands
Apexi gets the highest is not due to air flow, but mainly its filtration is good
K&N is 2nd followup by Blitz and HKS

All 4 gives out good air flow, and quite an increase in HP (all 4 very close) but the end result is still under filtration and ApeXi won

cat and bullet really need to change if we change extractor?
i like the pickup more than top speed. i read there about zenden 4-2-1=proton 4-2-1. stock system is 4-1 or 4-2-1?

if u wan pick up den u can try s-flow exhaust system, if not wrong the stock is 4-1 extractor.

S-flow give better pickup?

if not wrong it is ya with the correct piping inch setup exhaust system.

the main thing is the extractor first for pickup and top speed, the rest will follow
S-flow is because of the backpressure, good for auto cars

kazami : Ppl don't care about the filtration, as long a it gives what you want. Hero also using HKS because he likes the sound of it. Different ppl, different opinion

kazami, if u wanna know any different of the brand filter u can ask xcheong. he had try out many brand filter. now he using the bmc carbon fibre filter.
