hey everybody..few months ago i asked for suggestions and you all said that the dell inspiron 14r would be great.
I bought it from lowyat plaza on 11th of june.
Now im thinking of giving my laptop away to my sister, not that it isnt good, but she needs one. so i thought i would probably buy a new one
so uh
1.preferred brand: any
2.budget: under or around 2500 RM
3.usage: web browsing, photo/video editing, audio production,little to no gaming
4. screen size: 13-15
5.now, i do require portability. i will be moving around with the laptop. so an ultrabook-ish kinda profile is better for me and also i do need daily battery life for over a minimum of 6 hours of web browsing with wifi. need a good keyboard, and a good /touch/click pad
looking for a more rigid kind of a laptop like uh, say carbon fiber or maybe like a metal unibody chassis.

sidenote: i like almost everything about my current inspiron 14r. except for the battery life. in terms of build quality, its ok.
it produces MASSIVE amount of heat while gaming so i have to keep over a plain surface. touch pad is nice. so is the keyboard. display is ok. have 8 gigs of ram so quite fast but not when booting.takes over a minute for booting

had the new vaio t, vaio s, xps 14 and few others in mind, turns out they are either too expensive or doesnt that good of a battery life or not enough horsepower.

uughh!! what if i increased the budget a little bit? about 3k maybe? will take me a while to stack the money..but if its worth it..im up for it..

envy 4 : quite pretty, but way too many complaints about the touch pad,keyboard and the screen..
so no deal

lenovo u410 : pretty,complaints about screen, not enough horsepower from the graphics department.
also kinda no deal

inspiron 14z : just had a laptop almost same as that, only lighter and and better battery life. its a better deal than the rest..but uh..im not too sure i want This.

i am sooo sorry guys for being too picky..really, forgive me..but what else would i get for 3k
must have good screen,keyboard,touchpad. discreet graphics is a huge plus.
need/want a good battery life.
