I prefer Gadgetzone though as the Techs there are more knowledgeable. You can probably contact Andrew (Gadgetzone Queensbay) at 017-4788006.

Hi Guys,
Need your advice on a laptop I'm planning to get. 1. Preferred Brand: Any will do. 2. Budget: Around 4k 3. Usage: Engineering Simulation, Some games (Diablo, ect) 4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 15.6. 5. Weight : No problem. So far I've narrowed it down to the following. -Asus G55VW (non 3D) with Thunderbolt (should be available end of August), either 8 GB or 12GB RAM. Only thing I don't like about this laptop is that dealing with the Service Center in case of problems is a hassle from what I've read at the forum. On the other hand, we have a lot of positive reports from other users for this model. - Lenovo Y580, FHD, 8GB RAM. Only thing I don't like is the maximum RAM is only 8GB & the laptop runs a little hot based from feedback on the forum. Good part is the laptop doesn't look like a gaming laptop. I'm probably going to purchase it via Gadgetzone in Penang as they have a good track record. Which would you advice me to get & why?
