@machai: I think you need to introduce yourself a little bit more to us here. If I remember correctly, you and your friends do custom setup and modifications.

Custom mod, by using parts from different models, similar to sprint/drag racing bikes.

Jaguh piston kit is 65mm, match well with X1R ceramic block. The rest of the details I don't know.

Thanks for sharing.

If not tooo long, No problem, just start. Also depends what EO you use. better for storage, use mineral oil, because they stay on metal surface better than synthetics. During storage, the anti-oxidant will absorb the moisture and prevent rusting. After some time, change the EO also.

Petrol also, will absorb moisture and become dead. Open the tank, and smell a bit of it first. Very toxic, do not breathe in too much. Dead petrol will smell one kind one. It will be harder to run with this kind of petrol, better mix with fresh petrol as soon as you get the bike started and running.

Need to clean the carb and change petrol for sure, and check clutch plate and housing for rust before fully riding the bike, just in case. No need to operate, when change EO the time, take suluh and see inside, rotate kick starter to check la.
Need Puspakom.

1) FZ engine is louder, like got metal geser sound one.
3) Chain as long as got oil, is ok. A dry chain is worse.
4) What brand is the rim? Japan rims? How is the tyre sidewall, that can tell if he kaki leper or steady rider.
7) Speedometer front side kena batu is normal, unless is somewhere else, since it is naked bike.

Follow the change name process I told you. Don't pay money unless the bike is in your hands, follow by paperwork. No point getting paperwork done, and no bike.
RM350 a bit too much for the insurance and duit kopi if the seller do the change name on your behalf.

For nego price, don't bargain too long or ask too many times? If you ask 2-3 times, seller no nego price, can stop ady, don't waste your own time.
You would also angry if someone keep try to reduce price on something you wanna sell. When he say things like that, he is already not syiok liao.

If you don't want, just tell seller you don't want. If you are considering, tell him how many days you need.

Seller ffk is part of the problem trying to buy direct from seller, cannot complain la.
For FZ, check the CDI make sure is original one, and listen to the injector sound when you turn on the bike before you start engine.

Yeah, ask owner to show you engine and chassis number.

Not sure location for engine/chassis number for FZ. Usually engine number is stamped on metal cover on right side, near kick starter, bring a torchlight. Chassis number is stamped on the side of steering cone.

Listen for engine sound when cold, and after warm up. Both engine temperature will hear different kind of noise. Usually just listen for wear and tear.

Make sure all plastic components are screwed nicely, that could tell any warping of engine chassis in case any history of drop/fall/accident. Mudguards should all be there... some seller pandai remove rear mudguard to make bike look sporty, and many buyers don't notice.

FZ stock rim is not designed for tubeless tyre, even though it is alloy rim... made in India, can consider upgrade.

Added on December 7, 2012, 3:19 amOpen coolant cover, bring a size 8 and 10 spanner. Make sure coolant is clean, check for oil and rust. Check swing arm for any goyang... etc.

I mentioned before, for LC, I think better use API-SG. HDEO has a lot more anti-oxidant and higher detergency to maintain a cleaner engine.
Also, since it's designed for heavy duty engines, I imagine it is more suitable for high stress engine, but not sure about high speed purpose.

20W-50 not suitable for LC, stick to 10W-40, or 5W-40.

Added on December 14, 2012, 10:47 amAlso see page 1, got two article posted on EO.

@ken: Do not change EO if you cannot find the one you want. castrol activ from website show 20W-50, not recommended for FZ, unless you plan to ride long distance where engine will be very hot. Diasil block suppose no need run in, and pls read front page about hard break in. If previous owner ady ride past 2000km, already consider run in, don't imagine too much about engine still 'tight'. Change EO yourself is fine, but make sure you dispose the used oil at the shop, not longkang. EO below rm20 I consider bad for gear change even when new, based on my limited experience, but enough to convince me use better one. I spend RM30-50 on my RGV EO. Clutch slip is when you release clutch, pull throttle but less acceleration. Not likely to happen caused by EO on small bikes, normally only if clutch due for change.
