Swallow samurai.
Added on November 17, 2012, 10:28 amPort polish can remove manufacturing defects in a head to improve airflow. Like some racing video game, port and polish also got few stages to modify powerband. Stock head I dunno what it looks like, but some polishing may be good also. This post has been edited by alexei: Nov 17 2012, 10:28 AM |

QUOTE(suhail92 @ Nov 18 2012, 10:13 AM) My bike use standard engine head, no valve, no cams, only spark plug hole.Grind valve is when valve is damaged, and no money to change. Porting means make the intake and exhaust hole and airway bigger. Polishing just means make the airways smoother. Cam lobe makan - Must replace. Can be caused by overheating or racing valve spring or low grade EO or EO too good. Stock engine, don't do anything modding is the best. Bigger exhaust tail pipe is the best mod for stock bike. If you change cam, you can consider polishing and exhaust. Spend all the time to make the new cam setting nice. Later then big bore kit. |

QUOTE(suhail92 @ Nov 19 2012, 12:56 AM) tq for that information, very information, my bike all standard except cj ipoh, just add more pickup, and a bit of top, i really dont mind about top, just consider jaga engine baik2 je, nak tahan lama saja, 1. cannot tell without actually open up the engine head to check. From symptom, can engage gear, double stand the bike, and ask someone to slowly spin the tyre and someone else listen to the sound inside the engine head. It should not have any weird scratching, or knocking sound.1. how to know cam lobe makan? 2. does stock cam can done that? 3. really dont know, what really does overhaul really change? gasket all that? 4. when to done overhaul engine? and 1 more which eo is suitable for lc, sorry for asking too much, i just really want to know 2. yes. it can be caused by normal wear and tear, or engine head or valve overheat, or not suitable EO (too thick/thin) 3. overhaul engine replacement - standard list follow the mileage in the service manual in page 1. others follow pomen recommendation, but be careful don't kena potong. 4. overhaul interval, follow service manual in page 1. For EO, I recommend Amsoil, but many ppl use here have bad review. Others include car EO like Royal Purple (aka RP), HDEO (Diesel EO), JTX, Castrol, Elf, Silkolene, Hi-Rev, Pennzoil, Yamaha etc. Added on November 20, 2012, 10:16 am QUOTE(detomaso @ Nov 20 2012, 06:03 AM) 22.5 + 110This post has been edited by alexei: Nov 20 2012, 10:16 AM |

Didn't notice you referring to UMA 28mm. From RB catalog, it seems UMA PJ range is 30 to 52.
Engine choke at what RPM and throttle position? Plug is white? How old is the plug? Can show pic? Why not you send to mechanic and tune? |

If wiring still new, and connection is secure, 10A should be ok.
If use higher fuse and there is weak connection somewhere along the wiring, when there is an electical overload, it will burn the part where it is weak, instead of the fuse. |

Fix the RG, carbon is about the only problem with that bike.
For dealing with seller, which one you think makes sense? I suggest you understand the process involved in changing name first. |

QUOTE(ken_ng @ Nov 27 2012, 11:17 PM) oh, have to pay 1st ah. Is it paying full amount or may be half? wen get the bike and geran only pay the balance? This is one way of doing it:yea, i like 2t bike! been looking around for 125Z but those drawbacks keep me away from choosing it now. I did consider taking a kawa rr 150 but the maintenance - Original owner need to go JPJ to saksi with officer there that he wants to sell the bike. - Get that form signed and sah by JPJ officer. Not all JPJ office can sah the form. This is seller problem. - Seller meet buyer, buyer take geran, take bike, take borang sah, and pay money. - Buyer, bring everything to JPJ, and settle the name transfer process. @Nooboyzz, yeah, somebody please revive that RG... haha @crappy: how about you? When 2T bike? I think you will look good on RXZ. |

if ride TZM or KRR press 'brother', then riding style wrong ady. suppose to be butt press against the back of seat, and paha clamp on tank. When corner, paha press on one side of the tank...
2T need to use high grade, like JASO FC or FD. If not, minyak sawit would be good, got subsidi some more. |

@ken: the KR from mudah, looks like it has few problems:
QUOTE - looks like 1st gen KR150A, not ZSR - tail signal light and side mirror missing - non ori body cover - no pillion handle at the back - footrest all rusty, may be jam - not sure what headlight, ori vs non ori, cannot tell - rear tyre mudguard missing - no alloy rim, cannot put tubeless Overall, given the above, appearance is ok. Need to check engine parts, power valve, suspension etc. KR suspension is expensive to fix and parts are different from new KR. @melvinho: Which version gearbox, KR150A/B or KRZ one? I'm saja asking, not using KIPS myself but wondering. Did u change the whole set of gear inside, or the whole gearbox except the engine number part? Added on November 29, 2012, 2:52 pm@ken: different ad, same photo. something is wrong here. http://www.mudah.my/Kawasaki+kips+kr150-18227476.htm This post has been edited by alexei: Nov 29 2012, 02:52 PM |

KRZ is the fattest looking, almost everything is different.
ZSR Cyclone is race tuned, it is the fastest. @ken_ng: First can tell by looking at front disc, on the left is old model, newer KR is on the right. The actual model number can tell on engine number. KR150A, *B, *C, *J (KRZ) and *K (ZX) being the latest. @console: A bit wide, but can. @melvin: thanks for the details, you in KL? maybe someday 2T kaki can meet. @Noobboyz: All KIPS have also have KIPS, that's why they are called KIPS. HSAS not on Malaysia models, that's at the air intake for models with catalytic convertors. KIPS was invented before HSAS. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(ken_ng @ Nov 29 2012, 03:23 PM) wow, tho u are not riding a Kips but seems like u are quite familiar with this bike. I ride 2T bikes, and I'm quite old, so I have read up quite a few things about them to share here.hmm, same image but diff reg year. no wonder i saw how come the year so new but the rim and coverset is using old version. your eyes are sharp! Obviously it is doubtful! anyway, i'm out of this Kips. I'm here to learn about 4T bikes. Respect those who mod 4T bikes and manage to get it right. |
