pedobear1992 To me, RM250 consider big budget for tires. For me, it would be somewhere below RM200 for both front and rear.
70/90 front and 80/90 rear. 90/80 tires are much more expensive, if compared to the difference between 70/90 and 80/90. For small rims, 100/80 can fit better than 100/70. Still not recommended since your main purpose is highway, and you want speed. |

cold start need choke is normal... otherwise, why they give you choke? once engine warm up, then it will be smooth.
if no need choke, and bike can start normally, means a bit rich already. also, if no need choke, then mikuni, keihin and all other carb makers are all wrong... since they put choke on a carb. |

QUOTE(saranjeevi @ Nov 27 2013, 09:55 AM) Yup, still on my RGV. Took it to KL Sepang for MotoGP months back.Came back, change piston and ring set, RM50, did it myself using liquid gasket. The bike does 180-200km daily ride per full tank, or about 280km on highway. Full tank is 4.5 liter, not yet touch reserve. Actual tank size is 5.3 liter. Need choke to start in the morning, for about 2 minutes. I met a friend, Honda Future, also same thing, need choke to start, then need to let it idle for few minutes to warm up. Otherwise, pull throttle when engine is cold it will stall and turn off. |

QUOTE(paroys @ Dec 2 2013, 09:58 PM) I bought my bike and it no longer has its original headlamp. After trying a few aftermarket headlamp, I gave up, and decided to install a projector lamp on the bike. I chose a 2 inch long oval shaped reflector (the type that people put in the front bumper hole), it has a wide beam, no high light. It uses H3 bulb, which I can change to HID if I want. Unfortunately, HID will need re-wiring, and a stable current from a healthy battery all the time, which I simply prefer not to upkeep that way. The projector came with 55W bulb, but I need a 35W. Took a while to find one by importing from US. I used a metal ring strap to make a custom mounting, and installed it on the bike. The end result is not as fancy, but so far so good. |

QUOTE(Rudd @ Dec 12 2013, 02:52 AM) Dear guru's, with all respects i would like to request a suggestion for lc 4 speed new specs back tyre suggestion. LC5 stock is IRC.i would like to try lc 5 speed back tyre, since the size seems bigger. what brand is recommended? and what tyre brand does a stock lc 5 speed used for back tyre? vee rubber? Recommended tyres depends on your budget. Anything below RM100 does not have good wet grip, just be careful. |

QUOTE(Rascal Stitch @ Dec 15 2013, 02:39 PM) i see,cuz i got few bottles of addinol coolant fully import from germany~ refer to the german coolant, and check for the main component and compare with stock LC one.tot of flushing it all out then use tat coolant since can't sell it off last time~ if they are similar chemical, should be mixable. if those RM3~5 green color one, sure is ethlyne glycol, don't mix these up with expensive stuff. |
