dear sifus, i want to ask is it better to use 20W50 engine oil than 10W40 for long distance riding in order to protect the enging? the long distance i mentioned is refer to KL-JB. But i will stop at a few stations along the journey such as KL-Seremban-Melaka-??-JB.

fyi, i'm riding a FZ150i. thank you in advanced nod.gif

Standard oil weight is the best.
If engine already worn, then the 20W-50.

hi bros.
any review about carb rxz/tzm/kips/others installed in lc v2 4s?
*

If you do not mod the cam to run at 10k RPM above, you don't need it.

You can do something similar, by disconnecting the accelerator pump on your stock carb. See if you like it. smile.gif

Still got difference..v2 use diapharm carb while v1 use float type which is better...

yeah, I'm just saying, because he is using V1, can remove the accelerator pump, before he change to the bigger VM/PW carbs.

LittleR0ck Better in what sense? Performance? Fuel economy? Noise level?
This one looks like standard cutting, and NOB1 tail pipe plastic is known to melt.

Please provide better specs of your bike. Which version, service interval and what mods have been done?

Normally, if the rider has any of the following habits, then is normal:
- rev rev rev at traffic light
- open throttle very fast to accelerate
- never service carburator
- never change plug
- never service air filter
- change carb already...
- ride on highway faster than 90km/h GPS speed (meter around 100~105km/h)

yeah, use the weight and speed to calculate, that's about right.

HP = Weight x (velocity/234)^3

all sifu...i have question to ask...been googling ans still dont understand...im usng lc 5speed...

after flushing my coolant and used toyota coolant realized that the chain already need to be change which been used it for 3month...pomen suggest me to used o-ring like fz...and he said if wan more go for x-ring..he said it will tension itself by time...shud i change to it...or juz used normal chain?

im ride 100km everyday to go for work...
*
It is like standard chain, but with extra O-ring to seal the lubricant within.
O-ring or X-ring refers to the shape of the seal.

O-ring is about RM200 now. X-ring and Z-ring are more expensive, RM400 IINM.
