Right, fast pass is the licence to cut queue, i was in Disneysea 2 days back, and manage to ride almost all popular rides! 

The most popular one is Toy Story Mania, which i queued for 90 minutes, but it was all totally worth it! 

Tower of terror i use FP, exciting but the ride is like too short, feel like 2 minutes only

I cant recall seeing any toy story at disneysea..damn i am getting old

there are so crowded!!!!

inside is really dayum big!! turn a round cost about 4 to 5 hour + some photo shooting time

i am lucky, the toilet not as crowded as u think, and the POP CORN!! damn!!! pop corn for 30 min!!!!!
every booth also at least 10 ppl!!!!!!

i 12/29 go there = = 1/3 go back...
so everyday is peak season.........................
still manage to take picture with goofy and mickey
but the ppl so dayum like minnie.........
minnie need at least 90min...........

now all with 15% tax!!! not cheap anymore

Thanks for the information.  If my plan is to visit around Kansai area only (likely to go around Osaka, Kyoto and Nara), is it advisable to stay in one hotel in Osaka only? To travel around the areas mentioned, what would be the best transport mode?  Train or Bus? If it is train, can I or should I book now online? Roughly what would be the cost as we are on tight budget.

i see. my plan is next year cherry blossom. still duno where to go. Been to osaka, nara, kyoto, hakone & tokyo last year autumn.
now im planning 10 days trip, dunno how to cover. lake kawaguchiko is always in my list.    But, now facing transportation problem. 
fly in NRT, from tokyo to kawaguchiko, from kawa to nagoya is hard, then to kyoto, fly out KIX.

Actually my initial plan is included Matsumoto, Takayama, Shirakawago and Kamikochi, after that i find out the travelling cost for these area is expensive, and limited train. This time i go to see sakura, different spot from autumn trip. Planning to cover Tokyo, kawaguchi, nagoya, kyoto, osaka, yoshino, kobe,... kansai area.
I also wish to go Hiroshima & Miyajima. too far and must arm JR pass only worth for the trip. 

Starting from end of last year, Winter came early, spring early and now summer also early 

At Shinjuku station, at West Exit. 5,000 yen for 2 day pass. Yes, of course it's open. Hakone in winter is damn nice! My last visit although is late autumn/begin of winter (1 Dec), it snowing, what a best scene!

Sifu, is Hakone really that nice during late nov thru early Dec? I will be around Mt Fuji at that time and may consider to do a one day trip there. Any recommended itinerary ?
