The thing, I can't explain it since I'm not in this field, but results do explain it. What do you want me to do? If you ask me, I would advocate;
1. Abolishing polygamy irrespective of religion
2. Hang all rapists or have his batang chopped for raping
3. Force the signing of prenuptial agreement
4. Introduce sex education
5. Lifetime imprisonment for those fake rape cases

Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating rape or prostitution as personally I'm against both, but IF it might work, rather than focusing something that works underground and illegal, where its difficult to trace these people, why not make it legal and regulate the transactions instead?

Believe it or not, its more prevalent in right-wing nations only because, when you make it illegal, you make it a crime, when you make it a crime, you attract criminal to run such operations, when criminals run crime, politicians benefit the most. That's why right-wing nations love to make things illegal.

Make it legal, you give them protection and the freedom to quit prostitution, plus, they get legal protection under employment law, unlike when you make it illegal, criminals will abuse, and make it impossible for the victims to quit.
