i kinda forgot Athene, now only i remember him, i remember watching a vid where he took request to try out some other games and review abit, he and that Fury dude lol, their background got this bunk bed small room area, and both of them go crazy or some shit lol

u need to know his history and why did he have so many fans in the first place...
he was one of the best theory crafter out there for WoW together his 'clever' use of game mechanics (being a software engineer IRL helps with his min/max)...
ppl would flock to his stream to look at such mechanics and use them instead of figuring it out themselves as he would always aim for real first titles...
besides, he is pretty good in WoW arena together with swiffty as one of the best ret/ rogue compo...
he also organizes loads of events which kept games alive when they are suppose to be dead such as speed runs involving big names/ guilds...

that says a lot about his credentials and why ppl are wiling to fork out gold/ money for him...
it is the confidence he give them that he can break any game with the preparation he made even when he might not be the best player out there...
he is also personally sponsored by Razer and some other companies...

as much as he trolls around, he do know his stuffs and his history says it all...
u can't argue with numbers and spreadsheets...
he might not be the best player in the world, but he is definitely up there...

i mean, im not a fan of Athene, i know hes funny and stuff, hes not as polite as Yogscast, Swifty, Kripp etc etc name all ur streamers and casters, but i can agree that his guides n activities are quite efficient for the gamers and gaming scene, i mean compared to Fatality? what has Fatality done for the community in general? imo, Fatality is more to a self achievement gamer, and i rarely hear about him after his product launchings and Quake4 challenges back then.

So yeah...hes actually doing ALOT for the community in a sense lol

he keeps his guide vids seperately, ppl watch his stream exactly becoz he does what he does as usual, who the heck wanna follow few hours of stream just to get guides which is like less than 10min? LMAO
