new satria neo only comes with 1 flavour.. Satria Neo CPS R3.
only cosmetic n interior R3.
however, R3 engine goodies can be bought and install .. just need money.. moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif

check out the 2011 CPS R3 specs tongue.gif adn compare wit current one...u will see the difference...

but ya...its an optional...or with the same amount of money u can get 3rd party tuner to upgrade ur 2013 R3...hehehe

but neo is always an awesome car tongue.gif

My car is considered R2. No R3 goodies in it haha. Installing aftermarket stuff soon. Screw warranty, the Proton SC in Miri is terrible. I noted down 11 problems, he gave me 11 "professional" excuses. Including me not knowing how to shift gears properly mad.gif vmad.gif

Cps R3 is gooding because got close ratio gearbox..

In b4 change to exora gearbox..hahaha

guess you should watch out not to damage the MAF n MAP sensor + VIM system.. i think they are in the intake manifold..
what you planning to do? swap in honda manifold?

By stock, is the ratio tweaked or 100% the same as the standard CPS? blink.gif

I made an appointment on KM Motors which is a company for selling Proton, Isuzu and Chevrolet. I hope their service are a lot better then the "official" sc.

11 problems arh... kinda hard to remember but I'll try my best.

Not-so-important ones
1) There's a dent on the left-front panel above my flare arch. If it was me hitting a wall or something, the flare arch would have a scratch mark but there's none.
2) My passenger seat had a problem when opening for the passenger to enter the rear. It wouldn't lock it in place. I solved the problem at home by looking through the connection and found some blockage there, so that's done.
3) The door lock isn't.... I don't know how to describe this but sometimes when I unlock the doors the lock would fall back down returning to the lock position. I just 'solved' that by holding the lock up for 3 seconds-ish.
4) My rear-right brakes started to bite. Way to soon since it's about 4-months old. My Neo R2 had barely been pushed out for more than 4 times. Not a problem, I could have just change the pads by myself but since it's under 'warranty', might as well take advantage of it.
5)When you pass through those multiple yellow mild humps (that hump on city road to notify you about a corner is coming. You can still drive fast over it), the rear boot felt quite loose when going pass it about 80km/h. The technician couldn't get the same situation since I experienced that in Kota Kinabalu.
6) Squeaky gear change, you know the plastic at the bottom. Nothing much, just asked whether if the squeaks could be eliminated. Hardly a problem in terms of technicality.
7) Fog lamps aren't alligned. There's a small hole gap between the fog lamp slot and the fog lamp cover itself. Tech showed me that the metal holder is aligned correctly, just that this clearance is part of Proton's excellent craftmanship.
8) Brake pedals squeaked. Nothing much, I was lazy in DIY but then the technician once again said, "Protong memang begitu la". So I'd just went back home and greased it up by myself.


Important Ones
1) The passenger door has a 40%-60% chance of not closing properly while the driver's door has about 10% of not closing properly.
2) My Rear-Right spring has a problem. Left-Rear, you can slot in two fingers between the tyre and the arch. On the Right-rear, you can somewhat slot in half. And my car in overall looks somewhat lower compared to the Black Neo R3 CPS here in Miri. The lowered part isn't a problem but considered that my splitter had taken it's toll on the ferry resulting it to crack, I'd thought I'd just ask if they have any answers to that.
3) There is this "greak" sound as if you grind the walls of the gear slot whenever I shift from first to second. Technician said my shifting is the reason. Padahal, on my other friend's Neo CPS, no problemo and on other cars as well. This has become increasingly annoying since it feels like destroying the gearbox.

sounds like u got a lemon car...so sorry to hear that...

on ur 5th point...i got the same prob too...in fact my dashboard also are like loosen abit and shacking...they just dismantle the boot...reallign and problem solve...same like my dashboard...luckily my SC are good at it...

i got some probs too during my 1st week of onwing the car n make me upset...but after few visits to SC to claim warranty...everything is working fine! just leave the car to them for 2-3days n let them settle for u...

for ur GB ask them to change the GB oil or they did that? i got the same problem last time...it happen in between 5k to 10k km service interval...when throw in gears feels like something in the GB got friction...luckily again...my house n SC are nearby...n i am on the way to work that day...so i let them inspect n they change GB oil...everything working fine till today...

recently my car produce weird sound..more like flapping sound. (Seems like u blow the paper) it only occur during accelerate time, the harder i press the acc pedal, sound will be louder.

but if the car is not moving n i rev it hard, no sound appear.

I already check all the air snorkel, filter box and i already open the Tb but it looks normal. rclxub.gif

So i suspect there is something in intake manifold that cause this problem.

my noob guess maybe the mud guard (or whatever it is called) cracked a bit n rubbing against the tyres

if its the manifold or any part of the air intake system, stationary rev also should have most probably
