QUOTE(Max @ Mar 4 2013, 09:37 AM) its over max level. If the engine oil is fully drained, 4L will be just nice. The other day mine DIY. Open the oil drain lug, leaved it to take my lunch, over filled oil resulting in heavier engine load. anyway, should i or shouldn't i let the SC open my dashboard? come back, pour in all 4L and the measurement is just nice. Unlike other 1.6 Mitsubishi block, Campro drink 4L of eo. Better live with it la...after SC open up, more rattling sound, how? This post has been edited by Samurai X: Mar 5 2013, 07:17 AM |

QUOTE(Bushido @ Mar 26 2013, 01:09 AM) Standard alarm feature on Proton car after 2007. It also auto unlock the doors when you turn off the engine.I think there should be a wire to tap to enable this feature as even cheap alarm cost RM70 I DIY installed to colleague's car has the feature. Wanted to try on friend's new Neo but he don't allow as it will void the warranty |

Fat tyres always feel floaty at high speed. Even more with soft stock suspension. Maybe due to drag as car behave quite okay with bodykit which increased drag.

QUOTE(phas3r @ Apr 16 2013, 10:23 PM) fat as in higher profile? before this was 195 50 16 now 195 55 15.... didnt expect it to be floaty. i want the stock rims now Yes. I have tried profile profile 45 to 55 and find out profile 55 give the worst floaty feel at 160km/h. But it was minimize with bodykit / splitteron stock suspension. factory setup 195/50/16 has better overall ride balance but it doesn't give enough confident whacking corners as Neo's rear end action need steering more correction. Was your tyre pressure set at 230 / 210kpa? |

If am not mistaken, you can access the cooling coil and blower by removing the glove compartment follow by another square panel which house the cooling coil.
The filter is slotted in between the cooling coil and panel. Expansion valve located at firewall area. Not necessary to remove the whole dashboard. |

QUOTE(GONNER @ Apr 21 2013, 02:40 PM) What is the brand and tyre model you are currently using? As directional can be noisy. If you already change the wheel bearing, it should be exempted when troubleshooting the problem. Drive shaft rarelyt produce humming sound. Perhaps arm bushes could not properly absorb the road noise? or even VIM sound in action as in humming sound when the accelerator is pressed. |

Any issue using 195/55/15 on the Neo CPS?
or 195/50/16 is a better buy? Comment on standard 6.5 or 7jj... |

QUOTE(Daniel John @ Apr 23 2013, 04:53 PM) 195/55/15 with good rubber... in standard engine performa better...few of frens using this setup and they are happy...i drive their car back to back with standard CPS to compare and justified! R3 is one option as currently using stock Neo CPS rim. But the white color OZ halfcut bulletproof is tempting too or else...get a r3 16" light rim n fit with 205/45/16...thats the best combination... |

QUOTE(XlimShady @ Apr 24 2013, 03:38 PM) Really cannot corner too hard if you are not on super hard adjustables. Like me now...... But in a way good... drive safer. Go over bumps, hard corner, u turn all slow slow...... But the stance when its parked Stance when you stop, turn the steering so that the front wheel is out from arch I may go for XXR Intense 530 for hellaflush look as TE37 Rota is too common. |

QUOTE(victor87 @ May 3 2013, 02:42 AM) Supercircuit where got mahal? make friend with Frank and nego with with him lah.. his product has good finishing as well as workmanship... Mine is CPS auto and every shop that I went recommend a 4-2-1 otherwise the acceleration will suffer.auto or manual? manual 4-2-1, at get 4-1 because u need backpressure for the auto tranny. huahahahahha.. it's all up to you on how to play with the exhaust system, there's no best of both world, you need to sacrifice some powerband to compensate another. for street use, concentrate early acceleration to go over speed bump enough lah.. if you want to race, concentrate on your mid to high end power where all your rpm stays within every gearshift... what you want? hahaha.. or do like me, prepare a few exhaust system and a custom tools for all your street & track needs. You are the 2nd person who suggested 4-1 for auto. Now I am confused already I actually had THISand THIS ONE in mind. My preference is still more toward Tonnka header though. Some suggested custom header from BK Motorsport also. Or should I just DIY remove the catcon and replace it with proper piping and saved much in the process??
