Hi,

I saw some people blogged and open a thread in forum (2010) about how bad is New York Skin Solution is. I sign up for their free trial. Any advice regarding this beauty saloon? Saw people complaining that their skin worsen after the "treatment" from them. icon_question.gif

Hi,

Where you will have your facial? I just came back from nyss 1st trial. I want to share with you (others as well) my bad customer service experience which i had at midvalley. Hope this can be your reference.

i) I went there on Saturday and they let me wait 15 min before brought me to a room for face screening. After did the face screening then explain to me my face condition and asked me to top up RM200 so that i can see more obvious results after my 1st facial. Somemore, my face screening results just display like that without reset the screen till the next customer also can view it. It should be confidential!!


ii) Bad environment at NYSS. From my previous facial experience, I thought it should be an enjoyable 3-hrs relaxing journey. However, in NYSS, i felt like i am entering a hospital with a lot of wards. The beauticians are servicing a few customers in parallel. It has totally no privacy. Even in the individual room, the door is half-opened and all walk-around people can look at you. I feel this is embarrassing and uncomfortable as if you will not want stranger to look at you when you are doing extraction or putting mask. Besides that, the staffs there are talking very loudly.

iii) I waited there for 1 hrs only got my room. During the 1 hr, no people entertain me and no water provided as well. sad.gif This is a very bad customer service experience at a facial center.

iv) During the facial, they asked you changed and lie down. After that, they never communicate with you about what they are putting on your face and which step are you in now. She gave me a shock when she 1st push the cleanser on my face. It is cold!! I super worried they suddenly add something extra that is not in the package and request me to pay after facial done. Luckily it didn't happened as i asked everything she put and make sure it is not extra cost. I have milk clean and foam clean. Followed by a thin mask on softening (20 min long), then do extraction (a few points, very fast). After that, they said they put some collagen and use machine to rub on my face. Finally is the thick mask (30 min). Since i have waited for 1 hrs for the room, i got a feeling they were trying to cut short on my treatment time. It should be have face scrub and face massage.

v) Another staff helped me to remove mask. She just told me go outside wait after change. Never give back to me my spec.

vi) After the facial finished, they will bring you to a room again and keep influence you that your skin looks fairer. blink.gif Then, they will start their marketing on products and packages. I kept rejecting them and they are bo song and said: "You don't mind after you step out from this door, there is no more discount or promotion for you?" vmad.gif Wah.. they are threatening me.. At that point, i told them i dont mind and i told myself never come back to NYSS anymore. I came here to experience the 1st trial and you gave me this kind of customer service. I am not paying for you to threaten me or give me see your black face. You cannot expect every customer will buy your plan. This is a horrible marketing that i faced.

vii) Since i am having my 1st trial, i got the product kit. The way they give me the product kit is very rude and they are throwing the bag towards me. I am super disappointed with their childish action.

viii) One last thing please becareful: sometimes, they will take photo on certain customers but they do not tell you what are their purpose. You have the right to request them to delete it.

Sorry for long winded list. I am writing this so that we as customers/consumers have to remember we have the right to enjoy what we have paid and always try to protect our customer right. icon_rolleyes.gif
