I have this echo problem on my S2. When I make a call, the other person will hear his voice echo back thru his phone. I contacted DG and they told me network upgrading in Cheras area and asked me try to call from other area to confirm network problem or sim card problem. So I called from other area and echo problem still not resolved.
I changed my sim card....AND the echo problem is still not resolved!
Does anyone have this echo problem? This problem happens for every calls I made and every calls I received, irrespective from/to mobile lines or TM's fixed lines.
Anyone knows how to solved this echo problem? BTW my S2 uses cover.

QUOTE(11768 @ Jul 19 2012, 06:48 PM) Most probably cause by your casing. Try disable noise-reduction during your call. If you're rooted, there are patched Phone.apk that permanently disable it. Thanks. but how do I disable the noise-reduction? My S2 is not rooted cause I am not android savvy.

QUOTE(11768 @ Jul 19 2012, 07:19 PM) During a call, there will be 6 button at the bottom, the top-left one. If you can't find it, hit the menu button. Then I suggest you either change / remove your case or else you would have to manually disable it on each call. All your contact save on Google account or the phone itself? Hmmmm. Thanks. So there is no other way out. Samsung cant repair this problem? I hears S3 and Note are having the same problems on some unlucky units.

QUOTE(11768 @ Jul 31 2012, 07:35 PM) Nope, don't think so. Plus, I think it's the casing flaw. Thanks. I Googled and saw this in Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNtMCKUqah0How to fix Samsung Galaxy S2 Echo. Anyone here tried fixing their S2 echo problem. My unit still has the sticker, so not able to try. Anyone approached Samsung to try this method to solve the echo problem?
