I've experienced the same problem with the latest fluxi kernel. it will lock itself automatically after a few second.

Thanks a lot for the tips. will try it tonight. already search for the kernel files on xda but no luck so far. what i've manage to download is just CM9 Remix kernel from Resurrection Remix thread.

its a force close symptom.

no matter how stable your rom, sometimes an app will cause force close.
and when something force close, you will see what i mean.

it doesn happen frequently, in fact its very very rare.
but when it does happen, damn frustrating.

zetaROM is what version? based on which build?
4.0.3? 4.0.4? LPF,LPG,LPS?

not happening to me,when i got called,no need to slide.the sleep after a few seconds also dont bother me since i want my phone to sleep quickly to save battery icon_rolleyes.gif

is this global ics issue or just affect sgs2?

now samsung ics latest is LPS, newer than LPG, not sure it got improve or not.
i saw in XDA russia got 4.0.4, but staying away from 4.0.4 cos sked emmc bug.

The thing is, it will also lock itself when i was in the middle of replying sms.

I'm not sure whether it is the kernels bug or incompatibility with the rom i'm using.
I was using fluxi+resurrection remix 2.6 at the time.Currently i'm testing it with other rom.

I suspect its the slide to wake feature. Its beta and can be buggy. You can try to turn it off to see if it is still happening.

I having this issue as well, most of the time I thought it freeze and restart the whole device, could not wait so long.
I'm on VK ROM, Siyah 3.3.1

Enabled by default, disable with:
CODE

You can use a script to do that.

today i finally went samsung service center send my s2 for warranty, and already got someone with his s3 to claim warranty doh.gif

its a clean install, got wipe cache and dalvic,
after us TB restore ONLY user apps,
got wipe cache and dalvic again let it optimize.

but still got this long fc hang 15 seconds problem.

anyone else face this issue?

Sometime restoring certain type of apps after clean rom flash may cause FC. (for my case it's a 3rd party keyboard apps and also a news apps)
if the problem happen only to this certain apps, then uninstall the apps then re-install through google play.

I also try to avoid restoring app+data if possible.

you did mention that you clean install, wipe cache and dalvik
did you wipe and do factory reset? you should also try to fix permission.
