My Mom uses an S2 as well.
When somebody calls her, her usual ringtone will go off but then after 1 second, there will be a an announcement of the person calling or it will just read out the number.

How do I get that cause she herself doesn't know how she got that?

Go into Vlingo/Voice Command and turn off the driving mode.

Finally found the method to revert back my SMSC number.

no matter as long as it work,no more home/power button abuse,just swipe..wish it were swipe and unlock,rather than wake

hey guys..i think i busted the usb thing at my s2..tried to diy..bt failed..any idea how much it would cost to fix??

Yeah no pressing anything. Just swipe across the blank screen and your phone wakes up. Dunno about impact on batt life. Need to monitor more for any wakelock.

Swipe to wake is good enough, it prevent accidental unlocking.

lol, never jump away from fluxi then yesterday he comes back. still using his kernel while he away back then. sensation rom really worth to install for those who love sammy based. install to my gf phone and im really satisfied. no uc/oc or any modifications. just standard siyah. best battery life and super stable

hahaha..and there were times that i were thinking of jump ship to siyah and he come up with swipe2wake,really nice,even though not still use to swiping
