how to remedy this?

If you have root, you can use Titanium Backup to wipe the wifi profiles.

the thing is...my kernel version cannot be installed with the Deluxe Framework....

I'm on DXLPB now......they don't support that yet, meaning I should flash other firmware to my S2??

Is this by default or you have to set the theme in the Deluxe Settings??
*
Go check JKay thread and all your queries will be answered. There's a download for the ICS version.

How do I do a back up now when the LCD is cracked on every place?

Why would the service centre erase my memory?
They just have to replace the LCD right?
*
It's a standard procedure. You can ask for them not to erase, but they'll just erase it anyways.

Yes, ThunderBolt! installs itself in the /system. Flashing a new ROM wipes /system.

after applying Thunderbolt! script my phone restart and my Contacts & Phone & Settings are gone!

unable to restore from Titanium Backup..

any solution? Pikachu1?
*
Did you do a nandroid backup?

Might have corrupted something or your /system didn't have enough space causing all this.

i'm using pikachu tbolt script, is it ok for me to flash the latest siyah kernel on my cm9 nightly build?
*
Should be alright. Check back the "How do I know if it works" section if you're still getting the correct values at the end of the flash.

hi there all!
it's been a while. hehe.

just wanna ask something. im on PA 1.98 + Siyah 4.0 kernel. after upgraded to this rom+kernel, sometimes my signal drops to none. or my 3G connection is not there eventho it shows H on the signal sign. i need to restart my phone so that it'll working properly again.

what seems to be the problem actually?

im on baseband DXLP7 btw. does it have to do anything with my baseband version?

thanks! biggrin.gif

i experienced the same thing, i believe it is something to do with siyah kernel
*
Are you underclocking? If you are, don't. It causes the RIL crash even in Samsung stock ROMS.

Are you undervolting? Try not undervolting or setting weird frequency fluctuations?

It's the kernel tweaks that make the battery last longer :/

Tried ThunderBolt!? (see my sig).

Two questions:

1. What kernel settings will have the best battery life? I want the most hardcore one if possible wink.gif

2. No, I haven't. It's not that I don't trust your tweaks, but will the difference be significant? I'm still quite new to all these stuff, so it was kinda overwhelming when I read your XDA thread.

Thanks!
*
1. ThunderBolt! always strives for performance and battery life. For more battery life, consider undervolting/underclocking.

2. It'll be quite significant, though there are some kernels that are already employing ThunderBolt! like NEAK or Siyah.

Hmm, but if I underclock and undervolt my phone, will your script bring smoothness as well? biggrin.gif
*
If you already underclock, there's not much a script can do. It will be smoother, but to a point.

hmm, alright. I'll consider that point. I'm interested to know more about scripts and how they work in general (not making one though) Any website for me to start?
