RR JB running smoothly on my i9100, using deafult launcher as I noticed apex and nova have micro lag when opening app drawer. i have over-sensitive-to-lag syndrome lol, overall everything is smooth, UI is great, search bar kinda annoying though

one thing that *kinda* annoys me is the amount of RAM JB consumes, i only have ~100-200mb of free ram laugh.gif

Its ok if there's little or no lag. Hope S2 ram management is good enough for JB.

Still acceptable for me. rclxms.gif

QUOTE(antt00 @ Aug 5 2012, 07:13 PM)
I get 200 -  300 free on cm10. But who cares as long as its still smooth.  tongue.gif
*
yea, as long as it's smooth

tested the rr 3.0.1 and found some bugs, cant disable camera sound even after untick, have to go to root explorer and manually rename file, cant tick vibrate and ring button, ticked then exit it's unticked again, sometimes still have some microlag (20% chance) while exiting and opening apps, it's ok since hwcomposer aint 100% working, i assume its 80% working tongue.gif

battery life is great, same as ics, on siyah 3.5.2, using default launcher, apex and nova imo not ready for jb, yet.

oh and, crt animation sometimes got and sometimes no

i cleared the data

now it's sleeping deeply liao, takes like .7 to .8 seconds to wake up from preasing power button

flashing 1.97a now, bvefore using aokp ICS, almost no lag at all. biggrin.gif

flashed 1.97a, played with ui, flightly smoother than rr jb, but when closing app the transition still got micro lag laugh.gif

i know i know i yim zim ba bai laugh.gif laugh.gif icon_idea.gif

edit 3 : hey, the rom will reboot by itself occasionally, like when i restore apps, it'll appear boot screen and the whole thing will start again. doh.gif maybe its thre kernel so now i download siyah 4.0

edit 4 : flashed siyah 4.0.1 still reboot by itself. now restoring via nandroid doh.gif but paranoid very smooth, almost NO lag at all! thumbup.gif i might wait for a more stable version

hmm, when you guys say a ROM is smooth, is your cpu speed running on normal frequency? As in, you don't set the maximum or minimum frequency.
*
my definition of 'smooth' is as follows

quick exiting from apps
transition ui no lag

i set in setcpu
mine can overclock to 1.6ghz but i keep at 1.2ghz max and 25mhz min biggrin.gif

Added on August 10, 2012, 5:33 pmwait, guys, would it be me flashing gapps-jb-20120724-signed (that i downloaded a few days ago with cm10) to paranoid 1.97a causing it to reboot?

maybe thats why i get reboots? or it doesnt matter?

the gapps provided on the paranoid thread is gapps-jb-20120726-signed

0726 and 0724
2 days diff. rclxub.gif

Ok I went to my local phone stalls already.
They were not so professional but at least they tried to change the battery.
They replaced my battery with another from their sample phone, cannot turn on.
They used my battery on their sample phone - success, their phone boot!
Then they concluded that it should be the mainboard problem already and must send to SC...

So in general, it's not the battery problem...

Edit: They feel warm on my phone with my battery inside it when they plug my phone into their PC. Not sure if the heat is from the battery or sunlight, though.

i've read your case issit your pc got sudden electricity spike which damaged the mamaboard? hmm.gif
