I have this one problem with inverted screen/inverted mode on the SGS2.
from what i have read, it is a features on ICS.

The problem is in most of AOKP/AOSP based ROM (F1 Galaxy Nexus, Resurrection Remix, Pier's). the inverted screen will appear without warning. I have tried everything including pressing the middle button 4x. nothings works except to reboot the device. Can anyone explain what is happening and what to do?

I have not found this problem with Sammy based ROM.

I also have this problem sometimes when i wake the phone using home button.
U can revert back by
settings>sgs2 settings>screen>negative mode>normal

When u root your device, a yellow triangle will appear during boot up. USB jig removes the yellow triangle & reset binary counter.

Only 2 thing i know of that can cause this:
Siyah Kernel: Tap Home button 4 times to toggle.
Fluxi Kernel: Swipe across screen with 2 fingers from left to right.

Meaning it will go white right? I got the invert screen after flashing latest fluxxi b3,after using back older fluxxi, never encounter this issue. Might be kernel related

so the total screen time estimate for 100% usage should be 2 x 1hour55mins

Yes it will turn white if ur original background color is dark, I also think it is caused by using Fluxi kernel.That explain why I didnt experienced it while on Sammy's ROM (I'm mostly on Siyah).
Maybe I accidently swiping with 2 fingers. It can happen easily without noticing.

this one depend on environment.. even moisture, it could be effect too .. condensation is always there.. u drop in water or what?

its just Rumours....

mine inverted during typing either sms, whatsapp or email..not swiping.maybe it register 2 fingers causing this inverting problem. .not sure if i used latest fluxxi but disable the swipe to unlock function will not cause inverted

the paranoid 1.7 or paranoid jb is already can be download from the xda site BUT its very2 unuseable since from what i can see its only the visual difference that resemble JB and the paranoid tablet ui or hybrid but no contact apk.,message apk. things like that la

im using paranoid..dont have that options or maybe using different setting to invert back

I don't think any one use kies air.
please go download airdroid from play store.

Its faster, more feature, no need Java, works n any browser and practically better than kies air in every way.
