Fluxi Beta 3 is out for those that wanna use it.

i never though i would try an aokp rom.
because i like samsung touch wiz stuff.
but lately the long force close hang/delay is really pissing me off

so went to find some other roms.
CM9 is just so plain empty and feature deprived.

so went to check aokp.
turned out that ressurection remix rom is amazing!

i hate the lock screen vibration on CM9, and aokp roms.
but in ressurection remix can disable it with this simple mod

i need the diodict english dictionary, its free from samsung apps, so aokp and aosp dont have it.
but in ressurection remix can choose samsung apps from aroma installer.
i even got the touch widz task manager as well

i rely heavily on touch wiz clock app. since it has count down timer function.
guess what? theres a port for it.

siyah doesn cause the stock battery history monitor to screw up like it does in sammy ics.

wow...i just love this ressurection remix rom.
no wonder it has close to 7millions views in xda.

also, it has jellybean animations, when switch apps from recent apps, its silky smooth.

there's nice option to add on screen buttons also.
really not bad.

love this rom so much, bye bye sammy rom!

lolz thats what you get for ignorance and not reading what each kernel does. siyah is the only kernel in s2 with dual boot feature.
siyah has a s3 version too, so be more careful or you'll brick

Hi guys! Long time didn't follow this thread edi. So is there any chance of Jelly Bean coming to our phones?

Guys, I find out that my phone's WiFi (G version, ICS 4.0.3, everything stock) always restart automatically for nearly every 20 minutes.
Well this isn't an issue for me initially, but when I want download Gameloft data, I cannot finish it because of this. The download just keep restarting.
Is there any solution?

Thinking of using data, but 700MB++ of files... Quite impossible...

in the dialer, is there no way to set speed dial?
example long press 2 and it will call a contact.
only samsung roms have this feature?

in dialer settings, got a thing called TTY mode.
can choose
-TTY off
-TTY full
-TTY HCO
-TTY VCO

what is this TTY option?

No speed dial on AOKP dialer?
then u can always download alternative dialers from the app market.
i'm using exDialer (MIUI style smartdialer)

TTY = Teletype
its for people with hearing problem.

yup, i dont think there's speed dial, i look through all the settings but cant find.
not really a big deal, just curious why its not there. speed dial is very common, weird that smart phone dont have this.

about the long press back to kill app,
i think the time delay is too short, about half a second it kill the app already,
too bad cant set the delay like in JKAY mod. disabled this feature already cos i accidently kill my launcher few times. lol...

have a setting under setting>accesibility.
i also had the same problem of killing my launcher, so i increased the delay

My S2 just got run over by a car.
Phone still rings but obviously can't pick up the call as the LCD is smashed.


How much would it cost to replace it?
I was quoted RM500 by a shop.

Can almost buy a new used set with that money.

How much does it cost to replace at Samsung center?

Will I lose all the files and memory inside the phone?

I thought it's already integrated as one .zip file.
