technical school? in my day at SMT Melaka Tengah every Tuesday got assembly, just one kid make trouble in assembly, all male student got rotan except pengawas, budak2 berbaris termasuk aku... so every tuesday wear short pant inside lolz... but that teach everyone how to behave...

I came from a strict chinese school where rattan and that rubber hand stick were often used on the ass, the leg and palm to discipline and humiliate pupils. And I turned out just FINE.

Haha, sekolah teknik kajang guru2 dia agak luar biasa. Especially yang ajar aliran vokasional. Kadang2 bukan rotan, pukul, tampar, sepak pun ada kalau kesalahan serious. True story. I've seen it with my own eyes.

The question is, does that kid understand that what they did is an offense? If they dont understand, what for to reason to them. Give them some rotan so they understand that the offense is punishable and will not repeat it again.

There is no simple concept in this. To discipline a child means to show them what is wrong and what is right. That is why they ask so many questions. If the child do nothing wrong, let it be and give them reward (praise, gift, etc) when they do something good. If they do wrong, teach them that its wrong and punish them accordingly.

If got rotan in school must take it like a boss, if tell parents, chances are getting another round of rotan. LOL

Yela, aku tak pasti kenapa rata2 guru vokasional lagi ganas dari guru biasa.
Bila fikir balik, memang patut pun hukuman rotan, pukul semua ni. Sebab kalau aku bandingkan SMTk Kajang dengan Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan masa aku form 1 - 3, jauh beza tahap disiplin walaupun pelajar SMTk Kajang lagi 'keras' dan otai dari pelajar sekolah biasa. Tak pernah aku dengar pelajar lawan guru, atau samseng luar datang buat kacau masa aku kat SMTk Kajang. Ni dekat SMK biasa aku, dari dulu sampaila sekarang tak habis2 budak2 nak tunjuk samseng, siap panggil orang luar lagi. Kalau kat Teknik, jangan harapla..
