Still no update for L900? 

Action Shots from Camera Extras is a bit slow compare with 3rd party app.
Smart Group Photo is a bit slow to my liking but processing so many pixels to find the face through multi images is consider fast, no complain.   
Panaroma is great just a slight off "aiming" when on 3rd or 4th.

Overall, nice extras.

But the panorama app is crappy try photosynth you will be amazed

i tried the camera extras nothing much to be wow about. The action shot also take very slow and no control over the camera settings

witheld moving from hd7 to lumia900 due to rumours about windows phone 8 being released later this year, but a little bit demotivated by increasingly negative articles regarding them :/ if at all windows phone 8 will disappoint, i'll still get a lumia 900 later

I was in the same shoes with you, WP8 news was a bit of hold back for me to get the Lumia 900 at the price of RM1.6k  and I will get Lumia 900 if I see a good bargain. (Which I did and got it from a forum member here)

You have to know their sources when speaking about WP8 news, there's no really actual official WP8 release announcement yet but only leaked dev kit and devs conference which should be giving you some ideas on how the next phone will look like.

Now I dont know what kind of negative articles you've been reading, don't let others influence on your own thinking but to think that if the phone really works well for you out of what you've paid. 

HD7 was a great phone to me, I really miss the kickstand a lot but there're some things that doesn't complete or satisfy my needs (ie, the screen, camera & memory speed, did I typed camera? Yes, camera.). And eventually aspire2006's never ending Carl Zeiss shots really deliver and hurts my wound so much that I went and bought the phone from the forumer (when I saw the forumer in real life, I was shocked for the entire day lol). 

i've been playing around with my sister S3 & One X, the text to speech really suck!! perhaps some user here that owned oneX could shed some light here??

my sister love the WindowsPhone text to speech. when we're on bluetooth headset (really good when driving),  any incoming text the system will 1st notified us : Message from "XXX" we can either choose to read or ignore. ..then we can  replying the message with speech and send. 

can one X or any other droid machine do this??!!!

Open whatsapp > Settings > swipe till you find "Account" and you can see it there.

why not wait for Lumia 920 or 820 since Windows 8 is coming before year end...
