Did anyone manage to update HTC Radar? I tried these steps but it always says my phone is up to date. Help?

Finally working. Updating to 8779 now. Looks like i'll have to do it a few more times.
As for the screenshot, AFAIK all you have to do is press the windows key and the camera button at the same time, but my friend who updated his L800 to 7.8 says it doesn't work. Maybe it isn't available for 7.8?

Lots of patience haha. Just follow the steps in the link in the post i quoted. It took me a few tries.

I got that message twice so far. Normally it says my phone is up to date. Just keep trying! hahaha

Oh make sure you have Airplane Mode on.

Hmm I can't get it to 7.8 either it seems. Only managed to update to 8779. Not sure why. Gonna try a few more times.

Finally got it to update past 8773. Now updating to 8783 on my Radar.
What I did was, when the error message comes out saying "Try again later", I checked for update again, without turning off my connection, let it tell me it's updated, then try again.

FINALLY! Updating to 7.8 now. I think it's all a matter of timing of when you disconnect from internet. What worked for me was, i let check for updates about 5-6 seconds, then turned it off.

Didn't even connect ethernet cable to my laptop, just used Wifi. While it's checking for updates just disconnect from a network. IF it says there's an update available, then only reconnect to network.

Haha 2 more updates. 8789, then 8858. Good luck!
