I saw the link, my phone has this too, exactly the same. I guess you should try the Nokia discussion forum for more in-depth enquiries or suggest them to implement since not much  "advanced" users here. 
The outcome is totally different depending on the light condition and settings, both must take some time to toy around the settings to get the color and focus right.

Focusing on WP phone is really painful really but do try different settings on the metering, see which suits your focusing.

I can take nice photos, judging among my friends. That's because they use Samsung and HTC phones. But no matter how hard I try, I couldn't get anything like aspire2006. O.o Btw, I use Lumia 800.

999 is alot? the cheapest WP phone with carl zeiss optics le.

Android u pay 2K also camera is crappy.

Have you try updating your phone see if the update fixes the issue.

Normal usage (whatsapp, surfing, email, search, min. gps, calls and sms) will last from morning til late evening (7am - 11pm). If the minor usage (whatsapp, surfing, check email, calls and sms), the phone can last for a day and live until the next morning until the "heart battery" pops up.

2G eh? Why would you want to use 2G? Which telco are you on? Or perhaps at the place where you stay doesn't support 3G coverage? I think there might be a chance that your phone may want to boost or struggle to get proper better line, thus the long loading and waiting time will drain more battery.

Yes it will last for 2 days or less (if data & wifi turned off).

Do a quick google on "lumia 900 update 8779", you'll be seeing:

- fix purple hue issue on some devices
- fix sensor for better response
- fix lowlight color issues

basically thats it.

I did a hard reset once I got the update (lost all the data btw) reason was because I have some issue with voice call (glitchy audio during calls & echo). Problem didn't really solve, time to send to Nokia.

Not sure about Lumia 800 but I did saw there will be new update for that phone. For the "post-tango" update is for Lumia 900, 610 & 710.

One time, I was thinking whether to wait and get Lumia 900. So I went for lumia 800 and gave me more reasons to change to WP8 when it is released. I guess Lumia 800 is really worth for the right now, providing you don't mind not having the front camera. lol. My next hope is PureView on Lumia with WP8.
