really cant until now really give up, try like 100+ times edi.. my downloads cant even move

waah lao... try so many time, then manage to get update. then during the restarting the phone phase, my phone keep getting stuck during the restarting phase. I'm forced to disconnect and the update is aborted. Now must do it all over again.

I got the update!! Try disconnecting ur phone after 4-5 times.. when i try the next time.. i got the update

The easier way is to get the update is to start counting when you press update and see how long it take to show that your phone is up to date ,for me is counting to 9 and the next time I will shut the modem at the 6 count and restart the modem then the update will appear .Hope this Help.However I am very disappointed as 7.8 is laggy .

Not that difficult. Enable flight mode on phone, plug in, check for update, wait for about 4 secs, unplug. If it shows no connection, then repeat with 5 secs. This would usually do the trick.

wp8 seems solid ! I love it ! except for the Windows Preview 2. That thing sucks hell !

Have you check your data cable? Is it the same one that came with your phone? Some cables are for charging only not transfer data.

Threre should be only one network connected to your PC.
You dont need to physically disconnect. Just disconnect using the network icon on your bottom right of your PC.

start screen is laggy after updating to 7.8, especially when opening an app. anyone else facing this?

Yeah, same here. Just a bit tho.

mine only when opening some apps .. Else no .. Working smoothly n perfectly
