No la i will quit mobile photography already. Its very challenging to take and too much time consuming and the work put is not appreciated.

I feel you mang. Takes a lot of shot and practise to make the focus right.

Which is why a thread is necessary for you.

Nope if you are used to it only takes max 2 shots to get it right. Requested for the 808 but it was given to someone that cant take photos its very disappointing. Be focusing back to my DSLR =p

DSLR? Aye, nothing beats the real thing.

no its just the limitation DSLR are more costly and are easier to achieve. Mobile phone can achieve as well but its just 10 steps harder due to the hardware and small sensor size.

DSLR i can do a wide open bokeh but mobile phone you cant and even it can its very challenging to do
DSLR i have manual control, High shutter speed so its easy to do

Mobile phone can do but just alittle harder but for the price tag dont expect much.

Benefit of mobile phone its always with you anytime and anywhere but DSLR its abit big to be carry around and especially a good all rounder lens can cost as expensive as the camera body itself.

Like the london musical show they dont allow cameras. But my lumia 900 is a phone and dont one disturb me


Was planning to have a gathering when i get my hands on the 808 pureview but seems like no news.

In the WP7 ranges the best camera are on the lumia series. I suspect Nokia is planning to push WP7 all the way and pureview will be on Nokia WP8 phones.

Previously I was eyeing on Pureview devices with WP OS but that will have to wait longer, now that I've seen lots of sample from you and other forumers, the greed just dug deep on me and my HTC HD7's camera wasn't doing really well, I have to rely on heavy editing to make it look more "decent".

Agree on the mobility that the phone has to offer, I retire my DSLR long ago right after my plastic 50mm snapped into 2. Hence I have to rely my other friend's camera for my shooting, we do a lot of outing and I'm that person that has to carry the DSLR around for shooting, really bulky.

I won't expect more from a phone camera but I'm expecting a phone that serves me good on all occasions.

At the end of the day, the best camera is the one that you have.
