can explain how? I can only see the only method for dload is to convert to qualcom using ATF box and TP connection which is too technical and beyond my sanity to do it hehe.

totally fu*ck up now after accidently changing the region from USA to Malaysia. it getting worst. most of the good nokia apps is no longer in the marketplace list since it was not meant for Malaysia use. I lost the nokia counters, music name recognition icon in bing etc

so after using the student edition dev unlock we can install any rom like those rataplan and install as many xaps as we want? after this unlock our phone still dload? or qualcomm?

dev unlock only can deploy 10 xap

no custom rom

cant use apps that need root

still downloading the file (quite huge). regarding the 10 xap, is it

a) 10 xap is it like 10 empty xaps slots. let say i install 8 xaps then uninstall 4, so i can install another 6 xaps?
b) so it is not like 10 xaps = 10 times xaps installation only. if uninstall 10xaps no more xaps after that

u can install 10 xap

then u delte all 10

then u can deploy another 10 xap

is there any error on the marketplace. i keep on getting 805a201d error and the apps download is terribly slow even on a fast wifi. I tried hard reset, downgrade to older 7.8 version still the same.

Lumia 800 and 710 got reliable custom rom already...try google...

btw...on your phone...open dialling pad....then type this: # # 634 #

it brings your phone into diagnostic mode and u can check every sensor/funtion/part on your phone via that system

doesnt matter if they don't sell. just need the shop able to change the bootloader to qualcomm. it can be done using atf box. once fully unlocked, we can manipulate the lumia as we wish.

oh..btw...you use what lumia??

the infamous lumia 800. mine is dload, unfortunately need an ATF box to unlock it. cannot softmod one
